GOP Congressman: European Allies are ‘A Bunch of Weenies’

He's right. Russians would be in Warsaw before any western EU country got off its ass and mounted a counterattack.
Polish people can finally rest easy knowing that the Republicans like them
Better a weenie than a warmonger tat has to get involved in every damn conflict ever
What's with politicians in the GOP and Russia
seriously Russia's acting like a tyrannical shitbiscuit and a lot of people in the GOP are loving it and loving Putin, which is hilarious
13 terms. For fucks sake can we as a country get a fucking limit to how long you can serve in a public office. How fucking out of touch of reality can you be when you think we are closer to Russia then our friends in Europe. This just goes to show how broke a political system can be.
I don't know much about US politicians, but the ones who get to the media here are... well, old as shit. I've never saw a 30-40 year old American politician(and by that I mean a member of senat or congress, or some member of Presidents office) on TV. Do they even exist ? Do they even stand a chance against all those old farts ?
Jeez, what a dick.
Well yeah there's like less than 2 million of us here, our biggest defense is the fact that nobody knows where the fuck Slovenia is without really just going to town on a map.
Though even our army (of a whopping ~7300 active service members) has been deployed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Chad, Lebanon, Cyprus and the Golan Heights (thanks wikipedia). Our country also holds one of the 19 NATO Centres of Excellence (specifically mountain warfare), so this guy is still talking out of his ass.
Mind you roughly 7500 active personel is almost half a percent of your population. Percentage wise that is not much less than than the percentage of serving US population which sits around at .7% of the population. The US military does often seem so huge, because americans have a larger population than any single EU country.
did he ever think that the EU was made for peaceful reasons
Well it was, nevertheless the EU is building its own battlegroups, which exist to sort of bypass the NATO really.

That's the youngest age one can be an elected official in Washington, D.C. but that's only for the House, Senators need to be 30, and you cannot be younger than 35 if you want the presidency.
Next world war is North America and Israel vs world calling it now. Try your best to convince yourself otherwise, but canada will fight with the states as long as Harper is in power.

The sound of feathers will scare everyone off.

People give Poland a hard time but seem to forget that they bordered both Germany and Russia... as well as the Swedes, Turks and even Mongols at the heights of their powers.
he does realise that part of Russia is in Europe, right
based on his comments, i'd be surprised if he can read a map
This guy is clearly mad that we don't fucking bathe our manufacturing and research contractors in untold trillions of dollars (pounds/euros/crowns, whatever) because we realize that money could be spent on better things.
that and poland is the only country to have ever taken moscow from russia in the history of ever.
The Mongols and the French burned the city down.

Moscow almost fell multiple times actually. The czechoslovak legion was almost ready to take it with the whites, the french and mongols burned it, the polish captured it for a while, the tatars captured it.
Take it this way the germans lost the advance only some 8miles away from moscow as well.
