Mods are like diapers. They both need changing regularly and for the same reason.
TH89 had a crush on Jessi Slaughter, it's the only explanation.
What a narrow-minded and retarded thing to say. America produces just as much shit as any other modern country in the world.
One thing that I'm personally familiar with, is the aviation industry. America is basically the leader in aviation. To get a pilots license, in any country, you have to be able to speak and write English fluently. This is because America designed and built the foundations of modern air travel. Most modern airplanes are built in America. I'm only using this particular example because I fucking love to fly.
I'm really not talking about the past here. if you look at the past, yes, america has done lots.
However, look at america now. It is a nation of consumption. What do you produce? The midwest of the US produces the most food in the world. yes, but did you know that it's grown on government subsidies? That isn't adding to the wealth of the world.
What of military? Outside of military programs, America does not produce anything that is of significant value. It outsources everything else it does, it's become a nation of "efficiency". This isn't efficiency however, it's a load of shit. US citizens own companies around the world, and those companies don't rely on american soil, american laws, or american labour.
Agriculture is a major industry in the United States and the country is a net exporter of food. Actually it's the number one producer of agriculture in the world. We produce tons of shit. How the fuck do you know what we produce anyway? We export stuff all the time, guy. You're either really young, really retarded, both... or Canadian.
Please tell me what Canada has produced for the world.
I don't give a fuck about what canada does as a country, because it's irrelevant to the question.
Agriculture grown on government subsidies(You know what the US produces the most of? Corn. You know what you get paid to grow? Corn.) does not generate profit. It does not actually generate anything. It's growth produces a NET FUCKING LOSS.
You know what Canada produces? It produces a lot of the energy the US uses. It produces a LOT of the lumber YOU use. We produce a lot of shit. We haven't outsourced that.

Lol? America is STILL the leader in all things involving aviation. This includes the manufacturing of aircraft and aircraft tech. All of it made and manufactured in America. You're also basing this off of out-sourcing and Americas use of cheap labor.
Apple, Microsoft, and the Internet. Two American companies and one American idea. Apple and Microsoft products are sold around the world. The internet is used by everyone. Yes, Apple and Microsoft use cheap labor from other countries, for most of their manufacturing. But things like nanotech, are still made here.
I have a secret agent mission for you. I want you to go to the nearest town or city and visit the local industrial park. In my local industrial park, There is a factory that makes electric transformers, a warehouse that creates furniture, a factory that creates made to order Styrofoam packing material, even a place that creates bathtubs. These are only a few of the many industrial jobs found around here. When you arrive at your local industrial park, you may tell everyone there, that America doesn't produce shit. Enjoy the reactions (and beating) you will receive!

Internet is not an american idea. And I'm not arguing about aviation(hey, Canada made the Avro Arrow, a jet so good you Americans got jealous, and forced us to close it cause you didn't make it. Talk about your ego getting smashed. Leader my ass), and regardless, Airbus(A company that competes directly with Boeing and is doing as well as boeing by most estimates) is not American.

I don't believe I denied it created such things. However, can you really claim that that production is a large part of the GDP? Not really. Yes, there are largely industrial aspects of America, is that production on anywhere near the scale of China? India? Is that the industrial creation power of the US? That's laughable. I am not denying it makes those. I am denying it makes profits on those, and doesn't have to consume from others.

So you're comparing the USA's production to that of China and India? Countries with human rights violations, flowing freely from their ass? If you care to take a gander at a history book, All modern countries had to go through a period of modernization and industrialism. During this period, human and civil rights are ignored as the country rapidly expands. Later, the country gradually begins to simmer off. Services are made and wages go up. The classes of living and income become closer together (in an average sort of way). America had its revolution. It used to produce everything in the whole goddamn world for everyone. China is the new 1920s America. Except in a more modern setting. You're throwing shit on America for simply completing the cycle that all modern countries go through.
Also, just because Canada has about half a dozen aviation industries, does not make it competitive to America's scale of aeronautics production. I can promise you, that those Airbuses and Arrows, have American-made glass instruments all over them
This thread is fucking legendary. If a movie trilogy of Facepunch ever gets made, this needs to be one of them.

Yes, and no. China isn't in the same spot as the US were, and the US isn't in a position relatable to anything in history. No country has been owned and operated by industry until now.
And your lack of knowledge about the Avro arrow really proves you have no ability to talk in this area. It's an important part of aviation history, and it proves that you're wrong about the US being the "top" of the aviation industry.
Hell, you know WHY the US made everything? They were the only ones able to. Do you know WHY China does right now? Because the US doesn't try to, doesn't want to, and doesn't have the ability anymore. The infrastructure isn't there, why? Do I have to answer this rhetorical question?
The media coverage this is getting is all about what has happened to her, not what she's done goofed to get what happened. What about her acts of "cyberbullying?" What about those semi-topless pictures of her she posted for all the internet to see? And all the raunchy stuff on her social networking accounts? And yet in her videos she just wants attention. Notice how she tried to hush her dad so she can talk? She didn't look sad when she did that, she looked annoyed that her dad wouldn't let her talk.

They blamed it all on rap.
She deserved everything that happened to her, the consequences will never be the same, thanks to her own actions, her social life is dead forever.

They figured /b/ would be mentioned on GMA and that people would visit the site, only they didn't, and now they're annoyed.

You're forgetting that Canada also offered it to the UK, they also weren't interested. The Arrow also used American engines. Which are the sole part of a jet fighter.

Yes, engines are 100% of a jet fighter.
