I just want Swat 5
It's literally poking a piece into a motherboard.
I want to make a "your mother" joke so bad right now.
And goddamnit. I can't keep throwing 15 dollars at everything. :v:
So if you ask this guy what he thinks of people who do both PC and consoles, his brain explodes?
Except it's true. Publishers know what they are talking about, they aren't big name publishers for nothing. When you publish a game you don't give a fuck about that 5% that actually know their shit and have the attention span longer than that of a Rhesus Macaque, you target the other 95%. Vast majority of console (but most of all, Xbox) users are the kind of "br0 gam3r" that plays Modern Warfare and finds anything more complex "for fags". There are fewer of those on PC because most exclusives are the exact opposite of what appeals to them. [editline]14th March 2012[/editline] Not like the vast majority of PC gamers aren't idiots, just more willing to try something that isn't Modern Warfare.
PC gamers aren't much ... Different to console gamers. There is still a portion of them that are just utterly retarded. It goes on certain levels.

haha fuckken nerds.... pc gaming is for loosers.!!! smoke the pots errday n play cow of dooty~420~ 69
Yeah it's sort of sad how something so stupidly simple like MW3... - Not even running the best technology (STILL RUNS ON QUAKE ENGINE.) - Simple as FUCK - Poorly balanced to the point of a sensible person wanting to throw something at the TV - Full of small children, and quote, "br0 gam3r"s can make over 5 million sales. It just makes me want to punch babies.
It's literally push into slot, turn two screws.
no it isn't that easy because drivers
I can't help but feel he was going to the wrong publishers. There's plenty of publishers that I could see funding a project like that.

While the generalization of console gamers is quite out there seemingly, it's actually also fairly accurate. Console games appeal more to casuals and a lot of people i personally know admit that, if they had the knowledge and money for it, they'd rather play games on their pc's. They just don't know how to upgrade and don't have the finances to do so as well. Also, when i heard "old school, i thought of Soldier Of Fortune for some reason. The first two. Those were fun games.
"Really, Allen said. "I won't say which publisher, but, yes, literally, 'console gamers are not as smart as PC gamers.' The logic is that, well PC gamers can install drivers and video cards. Console gamers are just 15-year-olds who sit in front of their couch and press a button." Earlier today I read a Youtube comment where a person said something along those lines "pc gaming sucks, you have to install drivers and programs where you only have to insert disc on console". But the article is somewhat right, though. I know some people who don't know how to install drivers and such and prefer consoles. Same can be said about some PC gamers, though. So yeah.

Activision knows what they're doing. You would too if you wanted lodsemone.
It's literally push into slot, turn two screws.
Picking hardware is a different story, though, and even that isn't too difficult. Just takes a little bit of research. I guess console gamers are too dumb to do research?
I hope he gets his funding, I loved Rogue Spear as a kid
Is no one going to say anything about the "They buy one game a year" comment?

All that "complex" things you do before being able to play a game on your PC is done WELL BEFORE you even start thinking about games to begin with. By the time you are thinking about games, you already have it all in place. And with Steam the install and patch process is as simple, if not even more simple than the Xbox or PS3. [editline]14th March 2012[/editline]
Is no one going to say anything about the "They buy one game a year" comment?
Fair enough. According to big name publishers, I've had an Xbox 360 for 15 years now, and a PS3 for 9 years. To top that off I've been PC gaming for 23 years now (Steam collection counted ,Not counting a bunch of other games I have since lost track of or forgotten, like Free2Plays/P2Wins, or retail disks I lost) according to them. That's 47 years of gaming total (At a minimum!)!
This might sound dumb, but I was just wondering. If they don't reach the amount of money they want on Kickstarter, will they still get all the donations? Because it always says that the project ''Wont be funded if it doesn't reach the blabla''
Well you answered your own question
That sucks
- Full of small children, and quote, "br0 gam3r"s
Not game's fault really.
That sucks
Would you rather they kept the money but didn't have enough to do anything with it?
i don't understand how technical expertise can determine overall intelligence
Not game's fault really.
In a way it is.
seriously play bf3 for 10 minutes
Just glance at the battlelog forums.
