your posts alone attack the content of your character. you could sue yourself for libel.
I can't believe you're still acting like what I said isn't true. (It's been a long time Schlomo!)
your posts alone attack the content of your character. you could sue yourself for libel.
I don't usually say this and I only support you 50% of the time, but that was the best burn of the month.
Attacking the content of my character instead of the core of my argument? En garde, you squeaky voiced little shit.
i think you just justified my argument thank you
installing a video card is not hard, all you need is a diagram if you've never done it before and you'll have it figured out pretty quickly so being able to do something simple means you're smart now i guess oh it's kotaku
Guys please why are you talking about video cards when there's a chance WE COULD GET A BRAND NEW OLD SCHOOL RAINBOW SIX! THIS IS AMAZING!
I hope this gets out there and they meet their requirement.
I gave them $15. If only I could give more. Really hope this sees the light of day. I really do.
Yeah it's sort of sad how something so stupidly simple like MW3... - Not even running the best technology (STILL RUNS ON QUAKE ENGINE.)
So? The Quake engine is still a very good framework for an engine to use.
So? The Quake engine is still a very good framework for an engine to use.
Yeah and source is just a heavily modified quake engine.
I've known how to install video cards since I was 10-ish. But I'm mostly a console gamer. Take that generalization!
Too bad, I LOVED the old Rogue Spear games, where you actually got to plan out routes for multiple teams to clear a location, and could time simultaneous assaults to radio triggers. It just gave you a scenario and said "Figure out how to do it". And there were no fucking checkpoints after every enemy kill.
wait let me find it
Oh yeah, Steam Friends and... stuff. Regarding the game, I wonder how hardcore we're talking. Like, Rogue Spear hardcore or even harder than that?
Brian Fargo has made half a million dollars in a day, but Brian Fargo is talking about bringing back a classic called Wasteland and making a sequel to it.
wait what wasteland sequel? why wasn't I informed?
wait what wasteland sequel? why wasn't I informed?
duh http://facepunch.com/threads/1169979
Are you having a laugh? He's having a laugh! hahaha
But... But what about AoE II On PS2? That was a very good top down RTS on a console [editline]15th March 2012[/editline] Ok so it isnt a top down tactical SHOOTER but either way.
i don't understand how technical expertise can determine overall intelligence
I don't think it's saying they're objectively more stupid, only that they tend to prefer games that don't require too much thinking. They prefer fast-paced action games, rather than games that you have to plan before you act. So a game like this would sell bad on console, because it would be too complicated to appeal to most console gamers.
One has to admit, console gamers are pretty damn dumb if they choose to sit in front of their couch instead of on it.
I don't think it's saying they're objectively more stupid, only that they tend to prefer games that don't require too much thinking. I wonder if Valve would accept it They don't distribute any tactical shooters yet, plus they're a shitload better than most other publishers
no-one, console gamer or otherwise, is buying in droves any kind of game where you have to plan before you act. even raven shield had huge concessions to the counter-strike crowd and all tactical planning was completely optional.
True, but PC games does generally have more games where there's strategical thinking involved. I'm not trying to say that there aren't a lot of PC people who also likes fast-paced action games, only that we also have a large amount of people who likes tactical games. I can't continue this discussion now however, I have to go to class
It's literally push into slot, turn two screws.
Sometimes it's three screws though, too complex for some people.
I laughed at some of the rewards. 10 thousand dollars gets you. A gun Your face in the game with your name Your name in the credits Complete input into the game your own content put into the game (if accepted) direct contact with the developers a day of shooting with the head developer a lan party hosted by the head developer
I have no idea how to install a video card. Am I as smart as a console gamer?
It's incredibly simple, but in the meantime there's so much that can go wrong if you don't know what you're doing.
Probably a little offtopic, but OP title makes me want another Full Spectrum Warrior.
Since when was building a PC that hard? Like, there IS some research involved but "installing a video card" is very easy.

Well, at least we now know why oldschool games are few and far. Latest one I know is Serious Sam 3.
