They only make a big deal out of major game developers making a game that has less content than a 3rd party contender would dream of for marketing values.

Sucks that nobody else will though. And I'm pretty sure pirates would catch on sooner or later sadly. Same thing with idiots, make something pirate proof and someone will just make a better pirate.

I'm am incredibly curious as to the specifics on how this happened. I know that if I had pirated G-Mod the first thing that would come to my mind is that I got a faulty copy, and Google around for a solution. Chances are the people who package the torrents would have thought it was a real error and sought to fix it if enough people got tripped up by it.
Was it a sabotaged torrent?
