I'm surprised he isn't for people pirated his movie, piracy makes it so the name gets out faster. Its free fucking publicity. Also, I loved this movie, it wasn't your typical war movie, it was a real psychology trip.
Sue a single person, defamed his reputation Sue a million, lose dignity They can't possibly sue everyone

One thing that annoys me on DVD's is the fucking piracy warning messages and shit. Seriously I just want to put it in and play it. I usually rip the DVD's I buy then burn just the movie onto a blank disc. I can understand why some people would pirate movies.
What a dipshit. I didn't even know about Hurt Locker until I saw it on TPB. Watched it a bought myself the DVD for the box. Now I feel bad for buying it.
Sell it. He loses a sale, and you get back some of your money. It's like piracy but legal.
Why so mad over this? It will be free to watch on TV in a few years anyway.
Nothing is free. Premium cable or advertisements man.
I have never bought, and I am not going to buy a boxed movie in the soon future. My friend goes for same thing and he has seen the Hurt Locker in "other way". I wonder how goes that he is stealing money and I am not.
I couldn't agree with him more, If I was in his position I'd do the same. And there is no justification for him not doing so, and if you say there is you're probably just a pirate.
This is fucking ridiculous. Why is he taking it so serious he made a shitty movie and people saw through that.
I bought it on blu-ray :patriot:
Hurt Locker was OK Inglourious Basterds was better
As if I needed any more reason not to buy this terrible overrated piece of trash.
I didn't actaully think too much of this movie..
Hurt Locker was OK Inglourious Basterds was better
Agreed.
The guy is a dumb schmuck who ruined his career by being an apocalyptic jackass. Don't pay him any mind, he's doomed.
I doubt this will work.
I hear his next movie's going to be called Butthurt Locker.
Butthurt prick. (No i didn't torrent it.) [editline]12:21PM[/editline] Good luck chasing like 500,000,000,000 Russian/German/American/Denmarkian kids.
(User was banned for this post ("Warez" - Greeman))
Spoilsport... Plus, nobody gets their work pirated enough to actually lose a greater portion of profits, the producer is pretty arrogant if you ask me.
I bought it and it was excellent
I am now pirating hurt locker. And whomever bans me is a freedom hating jerk.
What if the person who pirates it is in Iran? [editline]09:29PM[/editline] Or China or Japan, or Egypt? How are they going to chase those people? [editline]09:29PM[/editline] Piracy is just unstoppable
This just in: Piracy of The Hurt Locker skyrockets
Well for every dollar a movie producer made, he loses ten dollars of his profits to piracy. But multiply that by 10,000,000 he would still have enough money. So technically the lost profits to piracy should not be the main focus. What they should do is focusing on making good movies.

I payed money for seeing the movie and for nothing else (well maybe the extra content).
He just convinced me to not go see that movie. What a great job he's doing
I agree, i was going to buy it but i'd rather not now.
It was: HIM!
Thanks for posting my personal information on Facepunch, VLN.
1- How do they find every person who downloaded it, I'm sure a number of them were using VPNs. 2-
I thought it was a great movie. Much better than avatar
ITT: Chronic pirates berate a really good piece of cinema because they are pissed that a guy got annoyed about how people are stealing his under-selling film.
