Hurt Locker producer to sue anyone who pirated the Hurt Locker
Do you also believe that lending films to friends is theft as well? Do you think that every member of your family must buy a copy other wise it's stealing money that the producers could have made from each of them.
Going into a shop and stealing a physical copy that they could have sold for money is stealing, watching a film you where never going to buy in the first place isn't, since they weren't going to make any money in the first place.
With that kind of logic you could justify raping a small child. Go fester somewhere else.

Don't try and justify pirating.
I guess he is in the Hurt Locker

Lending a dvd to friend is not pirating
Boy did he overreact, and boy does he not care about the financial devastation that will be brought to the thousands of people
lol, I bet he didn't even think about how impossible it will be for him to sue all those people :v:

Do you read the legal notices? Did you read them once?
The Hurt Locker was in NO way better than AVATAR.
[editline]12:30AM[/editline]
No, they don't. They do it for money.
[editline]12:32AM[/editline]
It doesn't fucking matter, you don't pirate movies and expect to escape the consequences, and yes, EVERYONE who pirates something is a thief.
EVERYONE.
Avatar was horrible as a movie. As a display of what you can do with lots of money and good artists it's nice, but that's about all it's worth.
Well, over reacting as it is, it is legitimate, half the problem is the perception that doing something illegal like piracy carries no consequence.

You jumped to ridiculous conclusions AND grasped at straws at the same time.

Personally I think The Hurt Locker tells a better and more intense story. Plus, it had some nice visuals on its own, if anyone recalls the explosion from the beginning.
Do you read the legal notices? Did you read them once?
Yes I did, but if a friend asks me, I will lend him the dvd without a single thought.
Tbh, the movie wasn't that great.
It might've been me though, because I couldn't see why it got an Academy award.
And boy, is he an asshole or what?
And how do they plan on finding out who downloaded it?
This reads like a Refugee Camp thread, with the whole over the top and barely relevant comparison between internet actions and actions in real life

What on earth does that have to do with anything I just said.
He may be a prick but Hurt Locker was still a great movie.

I respectfully disagree.
Who downloads movies? Also, I forgot to watch Hurt Locker.
Who downloads movies?
Millions of people
Rated you dumb.
But it wasn't dumb. You posted my personal information, which you took from Phoneburnia without permission.

VLN, also known as The Reverend...
I saw this movie when one of my DS's hand a pirated copy he bought from a kid in Afghanistan and we got to watch it one day. Sue them too, also sue the people who snuck into the theater to see it, oh and sue the people who borrow their friends copies and watch it, they didn't pay either.
Eh, I rented it from a RedBox and had a few friends come over and watch it. Can they be sued, too?
