As long as the US Bank Tower doesn't fall down because of an earthquake, it's not something to care about :downs:.
My cousin in San Diego experiences earthquakes (probably >3.0 magnitude tbh) every couple of weeks/months....it's just something Californians live with. Even LA gets occasional small quakes.....so I'm not sure why this is news. Not to say it's not bad, but if people are ok and there was no horrific damage, then I'd say move on.
Though, LA is supposedly "due" for some insane like 8.0-9.0 quake that will practically demolish the city one of these days......according to the History Channel.
Good thing i live in seismic inactive Britain.
Wait...
We're not inactive. Hell we've got a fucking volcano. Just because it hasn't erupted doesn't mean it can't.
:ohdear: So many earthquakes lately

Bigger ones, that is
Its funny that this wasn't a big one and it got on the news, Chile keeps getting tons of big ones, yet no one notices unless you look on the usgs.gov site.
So fucking what, earthquakes of this magnitude happen all the time. It's not special, and not newsworthy.
Fear-mongering.
Just play along, its fun.

Viral marketing for Quake 5.
[editline]07:12PM[/editline]
Either that or people scared by the Haitian and Chilean earthquakes are now making a huge deal out of common and unexciting events.
[editline]07:13PM[/editline]
Los Angeles is due for a hugely destructive earthquake in the next decade or two though.
This isn't news. This only appears on news websites because of Haiti. This shit happens all the time throughout the world and, under normal circumstances, nobody really bats an eyelid.

I was sleeping while it happened, I live about a hour from L.A. depending on traffic.

Snowdonia has been carved out by glaciers and the one in Scotland is defiantly extinct. They're not erupting any time soon.
i felt it from burbank, i was laying in my bed and the house shook ever so slightly
Here we go again
Didn't feel a thing.
That's because your fat.
Maybe increased Solar Activity is causing all these earthquakes, or Maybe, it's completely fucking normal
There have been 3 earthquakes since yesterday
Here are all the earthquakes that have happened in the last 30 days

That's close to about 70, and that's common
Looks like an earthquake hit LA.
2012 conspiracy people must be going batshit insane
Yeah the fucking earthquake definitely woke me up. Now too afraid to go back to sleep.
4.0 - 5.0 magnitude quakes are fun as hell. I don't get why people don't like them so much. Bigger, sure, but smaller ones that couldn't knock over a sand castle are always fun.
Quit posting about every god damn earthquake.
These are natural.
I'm scared
I felt a rumble
That woke me up at like 4:05 then i yelled WHAT THE FUCK. After it was over i turned on the TV found out it was a 4.4 earthquake D=
It's obviously global warming at work.
I felt it all the way in Indiana.
The Big One is hitting the Bay Area by the end of April. Book it.
Earthquakes are the Shark Attacks of 2010!
The media is toying with us, there are no abnormalities with a fucking 4.4 hitting LA

I doubt it's more than usual - the media is just looking harder now in the aftermath of Haiti et al. They're making international stories out of earthquakes that would otherwise stay confined to local media.
Aw, I was hoping they'd break off. As in all of California. Oh well, next time :saddowns:
Nearly 20 earthquakes everyday in many parts of the world. It's just that it occurs so frequently that people are used to it.
