Anonymous To “Destroy” Sony’s Online Network for SOPA Support
well it's not like the attack is designed for stopping players, but the company
It's not designed for that, but thats what it would do regardless.
Hard to take seriously if a Speak & Spell is their spokesperson.
Lulzsec won't assist you guys, have fun with doing stupid rallies and attempting to use Low Orbit failure cannon.
From what I remember Justin Bieber was against things like SOPA.
Also, this doesn't effect me at all. Call me when they threaten Steam.
You don't need an excuse to terrorize Bieber.
Also Anonymous is 100% Pro Steam.
I always have a hard time taking Anonymous seriously.

Especially with their over dramatic messages
Fuck off I want to play on my ps3, do something not so dickish for once.
Justin Beiber, yes.
ANONYMUS IZ LEJUN XDDD
If they actually go through with this, it will be good to see how strong Sony's security for their online network is now.
[QUOTE=The Baconator;33962270
For their approval to SOPA, we have also declared that our fury be brought upon the following persons. Justin Bieber. Lady Gaga. Kim Kardashian. and Taylor Swift.

Go Fish. Rain down all your hacking skills on those weirdos.
FUCK YOU I WANT TO PLAY DARK SOULS
They're making it worse, may god be with you Australia.
well this seems kind of unfair considering Nintendo supports SOPA as well
Well taking down the Internet on Wii seems kind of pointless compared to doing it on the PS3 or Xbox. I mean, not a lot of games on the Wii require Internet access to function and receive updates and to play with other players. It would be like robbing a bank of their chairs, a minor inconvenience for the customers but not much more than that.
-snip-
Is Anonymous even trying anymore
Every time they send a 'letter' they sound like cheesy shit taken from some secret agent movie shit
Taking Sony's network down is also over the top and ridiculous. SOPA might be a big deal, but it's not BIG ENOUGH to attempt to 'destroy' its supporters 'completely'.
That video creeped me out.
If you turn on snowflakes you have an xmas comedy :v:
I'm sorry but Anonymous just seems like an army of spergs right now, and making everything worse by having a hissy fit and "Hacking" everyone.

As much as I hate Sony, it's way more trouble than it's worth.

This is just going to piss people off. If they really wanted to make a difference they should inform people about why SOPA is so terrible instead of making people who might be indifferent to their cause against it.
keyboard warriors 2: revenge~
This will just make Sony support SOPA more so they can use it to shut down Anonymous' web hangouts.
As if Sony execs give a rats ass if Anonymous fucks with their shit again, they apologise, hand out free stuff and hire another company to do an audit of their security and see what's been damaged job done, meanwhile people get pissed because they actually want to use the product they bought yet they can't.
They start another one of these every week and nothing ever happens.
They start another one of these every week and nothing ever happens.
I think Stratfor will disagree with that.
The problem is that anonymous is more an ideology than an actual group, so there are some people out there who align themselves with anonymous who actually know what they are doing and can do stuff like this.

Better snip that :v:
Once again people think the entirety of /b/ composed this letter, when in reality it was probably a couple people. Most people on /b/ don't even have anything to do with this "anonymous" crap.
"Anonymous" isn't even a group of people or an organization of any sort
Wow that "letter" is just awful, was it written by some 8 year old? Couldn't they at least get someone who knows how to type properly to write it.
I seriously don't think this is the best way to be taken seriously.
Edit
Also what is up with targeting celebrities. Last time I checked neither of them had publicly said they supported SOPA, and I thought Bieber was actually opposed to it?
But...but...don't take down PSN.
I like playing games.
anon needs better writers for their videos.
Why the hell are all these hacker groups trying to go after sony. I mean i just got a PS3. Crap.
