It's not an excuse, it's a way the brain works.
oh sorry are you an expert?
Super mutant masters everywhere!
I can't stand these videos with people screaming for help in them. It started with that terrorist beheading video, then that one video with the cop being shot (from the GD thread a few days ago), and now this. Even though this isn't even that bad, it still makes me cringe.
Things like this have been happening forever. The truth hurts, doesn't it? [editline]7th January 2011[/editline]
you all know this guy is right. I'd like to think I would have helped that guy in the video, but I know I probably would have just stood there hoping someone else would do it. [editline]7th January 2011[/editline] you all probably would have done the same
Still doesn't make it right, and I have stopped a few fights. Then again I'm 15 and a 12 year old would be no issue for me. For someone with similar ages, it might be a bit more intimidating.
Heh, l'enfant means children in french. Children's metro. Although Metro means weather. So children's weather. :wtc:
Actually weather in french is "météo" not "metro"
Makes me want to punch those kids into the face.
Facepunchers, let's punch some faces. But.. maybe, just maybe, there's something we don't know.
This is a common strategy amongst kids nowadays, a bunch of kids start a fight with an adult and the rest of them video tape it. If he fights back, they have proof of him "assaulting" them and if he doesn't fight back they have a cool video to show their friends how gangster they are. Most people that were filming that incident were probably friends.

Most cops will understand the difference between self defense and beating up on a group of kids. If I was personally involved, I would definitely swing back, but who uses a public transportation system alone at night. Dumbasses, that's who
I find it quite ironic that ''L'Enfant'' means ''The kid'' in French. EDIT: I'm late again ;_; Anyway, the article says that the victim lost his book and they couldn't retrieve it because it was too close to the electrified third rail. In my opinion, they should force those damn kids go and get that book back, and if they get zapped, well too bad. At least there would be less idiots like this in the world.
if they keep doing this one time they're going to do it to the wrong person and then they're going to be in a world of shit
Why the fuck did noone help!? Fucking sadists!
I would have beat the shit out of those kids.
I would have beat the shit out of those kids.
You're probably too busy having the shit beaten out of you by your girlfriend to help this guy. Nah tis a sad affair this, I wish sometimes someone would help.
wow shit like this makes me really angry
"who’s 47 and works in a Friendship Heights flower shop" :smith:
you all probably would have done the same
Isn't the mark of a civilized individual their capacity to be cognizant of such behavioral shortcomings and actively act against them? Nobody taught you the Genovese story to kill your belief that a crowd of humans could provide help to someone, they did it so you'd remember why some stall and instead be one who acted.

If i ever heard of my kid doing this they could find somewhere else to sleep. Fucking disgusting.
who uses a public transportation system alone at night. Dumbasses, that's who
or people who have a competent level of self defense and know that if you are attacked you should immediately retaliate+incapacitate before the situation escalates if you're a woman or a small nerd I could understand being afraid of riding the subway at night. being a man, especially of that stature, this guy completely could have defended himself and knocked his assailants out. instead he chose to do nothing but scream and run.
After I knew the kids weren't gonna stop i would have brought down the hammer of Thor upon them and sucker punched them.
This is why you should always have a license for a gun in big cities.
none of you have any idea what you're talking about. As a person who's frequent to DC I can safely say it's one of the most dangerous fucking cities in the United States; statistically I think it is, actually. It's not any bullshit like "the bystander effect" or anything like that; you simply don't get involved in a scuffle like that in a goddamn DC metro. The people in DC are unpredictable; hell, people in any city are unpredictable. If more people joined in against the kids who were harassing this guy one of them could have easily had a knife - if they got charged by people from the crowd I guarantee they'd take it out and there would be more blood and significantly more conflict. Honestly all of you are talking from this sheltered view of reality from the fucking suburbs. Breaking up a fight at school or at a local place in your town is different; you're likely to know the people around, and have a feel for the town. A city is a dangerous fucking place. Anyone remember the poor shmuck that got shot in the head last year when he tried to save someone? That's not a rare occurrence in an urban environment; they're violent. Really, people; don't talk shit about people you don't know about. Not a single individual in this forum would intervene in that situation for several reasons; it's dangerous to your well being, and you don't know the area so you'd naturally be intimidated and feel like more of an alien, a tourist to the area. really, you just don't fucking know. [editline]8th January 2011[/editline] anyone who disagrees with me is likely either lying to themselves or is trying to argue out of complete and utter ignorance as they have no experience
Those kids need a beating. [editline]7th January 2011[/editline]
:words:
Over in Tulsa, Oklahoma its the exact same way, I used to live there and once a guy got stabbed to death in the same parking lot that I was in. The police were called, and the guy ran away. :frown: Although we moved out of there as fast as we could
Somehow, at first quick glance, I read the title as "Man attacked by infants" No but really, that is just fucked up on so many levels. Can't even figure out what to say.
or people who have a competent level of self defense and know that if you are attacked you should immediately retaliate+incapacitate before the situation escalates if you're a woman or a small nerd I could understand being afraid of riding the subway at night. being a man, especially of that stature, this guy completely could have defended himself and knocked his assailants out. instead he chose to do nothing but scream and run.
internet tough guy detected
Man attacked by kids at L'Enfant Metro
what the fuck i would have whipped out my cock and started pissing all over em that oughta scare em away
It's OK. It's visually obvious those kids will just be future victims of the war on drugs. They'll have to push that crack cocaine to keep their South east DC ramshack of a home. PAGE KING Anyways, this is why we have the 2nd amendment. I plan to get my handgun when I turn 21 later this year. Be poppin caps in dey ass
Except you'd be arrested in DC for illegal possession of a firearm. You cross that bridge and you have a firearm on you, legal or not, your chances of being royally fucked by DC police increase tenfold. Personally I'm kind of pissed off no one came to his help. the story makes it out to be pretty obvious he didn't do anything to deserve that. People are just gonna stand by and watch an innocent man take a beating? And those little fuckers mocking him, Jesus Christ what is wrong with them? What If that were their dad, or mom? Fucking pack of hyenas, they are.
The voices in their head implanted by years of COD told them to do it. The world is over due for some natural selection. Cases like this are problems caused by the deficient living because of a lack of predators, and this is degenerative to society. If we released about 1000 pedophiles nation wide we could introduce a pseudo natural selection and clean up the gene pool and prevent heinous events like these.... Children... from attacking productive members of society like this man who was mutilated by two of these... Rabid animals... TL;dr: reintroduce natural selection, prevent events like this from happening to productive members of society My sympathies are out to the victim, and I personally would have beat these... would-be murderers... to the point of crying for their... Families... on my own... :foxnews: *Terrorist suggests Obamacare deathpanels be used on children while talking on terrorist communication "Facepunch". Is this the apocalypse? Is Obama involved? More at 11!* :foxnews:
Shows you just how much society has degraded over the years.
