don't let your mistrust of trump turn into trump of a media that has proved that it is willing to twist and distort a story to fit how they want it to. trust neither of them.
Don't let me interrupt the party ya'll are having dragging Lambert over the coals for trusting CNN, but I'll just say that this is the wrong viewpoint for two key reasons: First, because not all of "the media" twists and distorts the story. Painting everyone in the press with this wide brush is unproductive and plainly inaccurate. Secondly, CNN has done far, far more to gain my trust than Trump has. They don't have my complete trust with every story and this is a good example of the "Sources inside the White House said...." stories that I generally take with a grain of salt, but CNN doesn't lie to me on a daily basis like Trump does (literally, sometimes several lies a day).
You have no idea how small events can help connect a breakthrough. I also don't think I've seen a single thread about Trump that can be considered "tiny Trump" news.
This is really tiny Trump news though.
This is really tiny Trump news though.
Don't you think you're downplaying the problem when it's literally been small story on top of small story about how this adminstration isn't working smoothly?
Where the hell did these "This is not news" wave of posters come from? Where were you guys when there was actual non-newsworthy stuff being posted in SH? It's damning enough that Trump had a twitter meltdown about the wiretapping shortly after this meeting.
This video doesn't show anything? I wouldn't even have interrupted this as angry? The only thing this does show is that it's very easy to film the White House from the outside.
Don't you think you're downplaying the problem when it's literally been small story on top of small story about how this adminstration isn't working smoothly?
Death by a thousand cuts as they say.
And yet it is completely irrational to trust CNN simply because you do not trust trump. The thing i was addressing, and which you're now avoiding.
It's rational under the circumstances. Trump's a proven liar. He dismisses CNN as "fake news" because they don't go along with him and his views, and they call him out on his bullshit-- not because they're actually fabricating news reports about him all the time. But whatever. Let's just ignore all of this.
Mr. "The Media is the enemy of the American people" is about as trustworthy as the scum in my pond.
I wouldn't give him that much credit. At least the scum in your pond would make for some semi-decent compost if sieved out of it, whereas this guy would probably just break down into salt and sand.
This is really tiny Trump news though.
What is an acceptable size of Trump news to post?
Come on, you can't just try to slander trump and his administration like this, it takes away credibility from the real bad shit being reported on him. For all we know, they're really arguing over whether traps or futas are better
As if this is worth arguing, the answer is traps, most of the time. Duh
What is an acceptable size of Trump news to post?
At least bigger than his hands, but it doesn't have to be as big as his ego.
very easy to show a video of literally anything and create context for it out of thin air or "someone said." cnn once said it was illegal to look at wikileaks emails except when they do it and ya'll all pulling out your dicks to this like they're your most reliable source. keep thinking critically, friends
What is an acceptable size of Trump news to post?
Dunno man, everything Trump or anyone on his staff does is considered news these days. We have come to the point where he can make a bunch of tweets and it dominates the news cycle for days or even weeks, and to the point where people like Conway can sit on a bank weirdly and the media makes a major fuss about it.
Dunno man, everything Trump or anyone on his staff does is considered news these days. The rest of the stories about his tweets are just because he makes a lot of tweet's that happen to be bewildering. Was bolded posted on FP? Are you sure this isn't something you are misremembering, like CNN's supposed story about the MLK bust? You also didn't answer my original question. I want to know what constitutes a worthy SH post about Trump in Tudd's view, but yours can work too. Feel free to link prior examples.
"all" is a stretch but cnn has never been known for unbiased factual reporting. They're not as bad as infowars, but they still don't deserve the amount of trust and benefit of the doubt many give them.
They're the "best" of the big three 24 hour news networks. Concerning given the dubious quality of the station, but it's really not as bad as MSNBC or Fox News.
Actually given the subject of his later tweets, who's to say Donald wasn't just really upset about being wiretapped?
No one fucking wiretapped Donald, stop eating up the shit he puts on Twitter.
I'd say the "dubious quality" is overhyped, given that the "cut feed" clips always have reasonable explanations and a lot of people seem to misattribute the MLK Jr story to CNN and not to the TIME's editor (writer?) who tweeted about it. The wikileaks comment was plainly dumb and Cuomo should have come on the next day and corrected himself but find me a 24 hour news network that doesn't occasionally have an anchor or pundit say some dumb shit. Hell Tucker Carlson is the most watched program around and just 10 minutes with that guy is more exposure to raw horseshit than 10 years of CNN footage.
Dunno man, everything Trump or anyone on his staff does is considered news these days. A single tweet can send a company's stock prices skyrocketing or plummeting, can launch a national investigation, can do incredible damage to international diplomatic relations, etc. Trump's tweets are reported on because they actually matter. This isn't just some random guy's Twitter account, it's a major world leader.

They found out about Trump's campaign talking with Russian agents by listening to the wiretaps from the side of the wiretapped Russians. As people have said over and over again, there's no tapping Trump without a FISA warrant. And if there IS a FISA warrant, Trump's in deep, deep shit.
