Don't let me interrupt the party ya'll are having dragging Lambert over the coals for trusting CNN, but I'll just say that this is the wrong viewpoint for two key reasons: First, because not all of "the media" twists and distorts the story. Painting everyone in the press with this wide brush is unproductive and plainly inaccurate. Secondly, CNN has done far, far more to gain my trust than Trump has. They don't have my complete trust with every story and this is a good example of the "Sources inside the White House said...." stories that I generally take with a grain of salt, but CNN doesn't lie to me on a daily basis like Trump does (literally, sometimes several lies a day).

We have come to the point where he can make a bunch of tweets and it dominates the news cycle for days or even weeks, and to the point where people like Conway can sit on a bank weirdly and the media makes a major fuss about it.

Pepole went out of their way to say that while they trust CNN more than say, the White House (which any rational, critical thinking human being would, understandably), they don't trust CNN unconditionally.

I think the only tweet that has really stuck was the "fake media is the enemy of the people" one. The rest of the stories about his tweets are just because he makes a lot of tweet's that happen to be bewildering.
Was bolded posted on FP? Are you sure this isn't something you are misremembering, like CNN's supposed story about the MLK bust?
You also didn't answer my original question. I want to know what constitutes a worthy SH post about Trump in Tudd's view, but yours can work too. Feel free to link prior examples.

I'd say the "dubious quality" is overhyped, given that the "cut feed" clips always have reasonable explanations and a lot of people seem to misattribute the MLK Jr story to CNN and not to the TIME's editor (writer?) who tweeted about it. The wikileaks comment was plainly dumb and Cuomo should have come on the next day and corrected himself but find me a 24 hour news network that doesn't occasionally have an anchor or pundit say some dumb shit.
Hell Tucker Carlson is the most watched program around and just 10 minutes with that guy is more exposure to raw horseshit than 10 years of CNN footage.

trump has definitively proven himself a liar and nothing that comes out of his mouth should be taken anywhere near to face value.
not everything the media says is a lie. i would go as far to say much of it is truthful for the most part. what makes me cautious is that nearly every major media source has run stories that are heavily twisted or straight up wrong on things large and small. sometimes redactions, corrections, and apologies are made, but not always. it shows they are willing to distort for whatever reason. to me, trust isn't gained by mostly telling the truth and only sometimes sprinkling in lies. that just calls into question anything else they report.
there are a number of good reporters out there doing good work, and i am probably wrong for having as much mistrust that i do, but i can't bring myself to trust CNN any more just because Trump is blatantly untrustworthy

I agree that the Conway couch thing was a very silly controversy, but Trump's tweets literally affect the entire world. A single tweet can send a company's stock prices skyrocketing or plummeting, can launch a national investigation, can do incredible damage to international diplomatic relations, etc. Trump's tweets are reported on because they actually matter. This isn't just some random guy's Twitter account, it's a major world leader.

When I say "dubious quality" I mean more in terms of bias in reporting and a focus on pundits (which is certainly far less than MSNBC and Fox News).
