Wow UKIP just imploded. They also want to jail people without trial or evidence. Fuck liberty i guess
The "friends in Hamas" attack can be effective but fuck lol that was weak from Nuttall, "no WAIT you invited hamas though!! :("

Nuttall is swinging from strength to strength, now defending Trump who has like an 11% approval rating in the UK
jesus paul what the fuck are you talking about.
Paul Nuttal is the UKIP guy right? You don't think he's maybe playing distraction so the Conservatives come out of this less damaged than they should?
Paul Nuttal is the UKIP guy right? You don't think he's maybe playing distraction so the Conservatives come out of this less damaged than they should?
UKIP are Conservatives by association, though. Unless most people don't know that?
Why do I get the impression that UKIP being complete retards is going to distract people from noticing from how awful the Tories are? [editline]31st May 2017[/editline] wow dat ninja
Why do I get the impression that UKIP being complete retards is going to distract people from noticing from how awful the Tories are? [editline]31st May 2017[/editline] wow dat ninja
Great minds think alike. : U (I know UKIp are of a conservative ideology but British Conservative Party is the correct name right?)
"You don't join UKIP for a career" No shit, ta-ra mate
Oh shit. May forgot to tell Rudd that nobody goes in on Corbyn's mandate.
Honestly it would have been better if Theresa May went and just didn't say anything, this looks real bad.
Honestly it would have been better if Theresa May went and just didn't say anything, this looks real bad.
They could even have just sent a Maybot to stand silently until addressed and then say "While this coalition of chaos was squabbling, I was having a strong, stable think about [question]"
"The u-turn queen" lol
Kind of worried - and it's clearly May's plan - that people who don't watch this debate will see "opposition parties get into a fight, while strong stable May stays out of it"
Kind of worried - and it's clearly May's plan - that people who don't watch this debate will see "opposition parties get into a fight, while strong stable May stays out of it"
Sure in the daily mail probably, but they were always going to spin this pro tory. What matters is everyone else talking about her absence. She's undermined her leadership image by not showing up.
Nuttal is getting laughed off, Rudd is a disaster, May shines in her absence. This is chaos for conservatives.
Top stuff from Fallon.
Tim Farron is actually a lad
Kind of worried - and it's clearly May's plan - that people who don't watch this debate will see "opposition parties get into a fight, while strong stable May stays out of it"
You were right.
Mortal post-debate combat taking place on BBC News Channel, Emily Thornberry v Damien Green fight to the death
Depending on my constituency, it appears to be Lib Dems or Labour.
The moderation was utter shit tbh. What a joke of a 'debate'
The Tories have definitely damaged themselves in this debate, Amber Rudd practically fell apart and Theresa not showing has possibly doomed her party. I'm hoping this has at least helped Corbyn. The other parties that want to reverse the referendum are just being delusional and it'll only damage us further, the referendum was utter bollocks but delaying it or trying to get out of it is just going to make things worse.
The moderation was utter shit tbh. What a joke of a 'debate'
That referee or whatever her role is, was shockingly bias. Even though it was a joke it was a funny one, unlike a lot of the other usual debates.

Conservatives didn't really seem to get any points across, and Rudd just kind of sat there and went "but but.. labour's magic money tree guys"
Biased how?
At first it was as if she was attacking Corbyn at any opportunity, then it sort of veered off when everyone turned the bullying to Tory and UKIP candidates. I'm not sure if she was insistently attacking him all the way through because it got drown out by politician shouting.
The moderation was utter shit tbh. What a joke of a 'debate'
To be fair, it is quite hard to moderate the debate when there are 7 people all trying to talk over each other. It was like this in the 2015 debate too: too many people and too much talking over each other. Tim Farron was pretty good and landed some good hits on TM being absent. Paul Nuttal had a bit of a shocker and did the worst out of the lot. Corbyn, Robertson and Lucas all did fine. I was pleasantly surprised by Leanne Wood - I think she did the best and came across well. She seemed to remain calm whilst the others were getting shouty. My 2 cents: Corbyn 6/10 Rudd 7/10 (Theresa May 2/10) Nuttal 4/10 Lucas 6/10 Farron 7/10 Wood 8/10 Robertson 6/10 [editline]31st May 2017[/editline]
At first it was as if she was attacking Corbyn at any opportunity, then it sort of veered off when everyone turned the bullying to Tory and UKIP candidates. What? "judge us on our record" lol
You thought Rudd did better than Corbyn? What? "judge us on our record" lol
Corbyn was having to fight off attacks from both the Right and the Left & Leanne Wood challenged him quite effectively on the Labour government in Wales. Corbyn get quite testy with Caroline Lucas too at one point which didn't reflect well and played into the 'coalition of chaos' line. Rudd had the 'judge us on our record' gaff but apart from that didn't drop any clangers. She stood up quite well and didn't get too shouty. Plus I haven't seen her debate before and I thought she came across well - I had low expectations that were surpassed. That's why I put Rudd ahead of Corbyn.
