Mel and Sue have quit the show
Good, they are both the most unfunny cunts ever. I cringe every time they are on screen and try to make "jokes"
Literally just as Mel and Sue quit, it suddenly started pouring down with rain and thunder and lightning here. I'm scared. We've meddled with forces we can't possibly understand
Paul Hollywood is a spicy meatloaf and I'd let him knead my dough anytime but he can't carry this show alone.
Heat can leave and stay where it belongs. Bring on rain and 4-14c that way I can wear a comfy coat.

-snip smurfy out-memed me-
This is basically the only thing my colleagues talk about. I guess it'll be back to Big Brother etc until the new game of thrones is out.
I hope they get rid of Mel and Sue. The only bad bit about Bakeoff. With a better presenter/presenters it'd be 10/10.
Dreams do come true.
Good, they are both the most unfunny cunts ever. I cringe every time they are on screen and try to make "jokes"
Those are called "puns". They are always terrible. But they are a part of their hosting style. Puns are somewhat intentionally cringe inducing.
Thomo_UK was offered £15 million to post this in the weather thread but he rejected it
Damn right I was and I am so bloody tired I mixed up the tabs in Firefox. I kind of hope they keep the original presenters though.
Here's hoping Paul and Mary quit as well and leave Channel 4 with a £25 million tent.
Well, they fucked up. Mary Berry has quit citing loyalty to the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-37437907
Pretty much sums it up at this point.
Well, they fucked up. Mary Berry has quit citing loyalty to the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-37437907
Hahahaha good luck C4.
At this point the Beeb is rubbing their hands with glee and shouting "No Backsies!"
Perhaps C4 could have Chris Evans present the bake off?
Perhaps C4 could have Chris Evans present the bake off?
Maybe combine with some similarly timed resignations. New Bakeoff Lineup of David Cameron, Chris Evans and Roy Hodgson, with Jeremy Corbyn joinging for season 2.
Paul "Philippe Pétain" Hollywood has signed a three series deal with Channel 4 [editline]22nd September 2016[/editline] I don't know how the show will function with only Paul "Show Me The Money" Hollywood left
Who can you even get to replace Mary
Paul "Philippe Pétain" Hollywood has signed a three series deal with Channel 4 [editline]22nd September 2016[/editline] I don't know how the show will function with only Paul "Show Me The Money" Hollywood left
He might be able to buy himself a pair of trousers now instead of jeans.
Who can you even get to replace Mary
Crypt Keeper, he was in the glass below her at Cookery School.
I saw an article that referred to Paul Hollywood as 'the Michael Gove of light entertainment'
Maybe C4 getting it will produce an 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Bake Off :v:. That'd be pretty killer.
Holy shit I would watch all of that :v:
I just watched this show for the first time. It is delightful, my god. Seeing the different cultures come together and produce some pretty neat stuff just makes me really peckish.
Flour, eggs and sugar have announced that they are also leaving the gbbo.
Tangentially related: What the hell is "Candied Bacon", and is it actually better than it sounds?
Tangentially related: What the hell is "Candied Bacon", and is it actually better than it sounds?
as a canadian you must know the advantages of putting bacon with maple syrup, it must be similar.
as a canadian you must know the advantages of putting bacon with maple syrup, it must be similar.
This is new to me, and not very appetizing :(
This is new to me, and not very appetizing :(
sweet, smokey and salty is a great combination, try it.
sweet, smokey and salty is a great combination, try it.
I guess I can see where that's coming from. BBQ sauce goes pretty well with grilled meat, after all. But actual maple syrup?
