thats easy just go to williamsburg in new york. Its hipster utopia.
everyone these days wants to do a little social experiment with their young kids
i myself plan on not telling my kid the purpose of shoes, just that they have to wear them
then when they are old enough i will ask them what they think the purpose of shoes are
This reminds me of some terrible reality show where in one episode, some sheltering suburban mom was worried about videogame consoles harming her children so she hires some asshole crew to haul off all of the kids' modern belongings and replace them with '70s things.
Then she forces them to walk around in tacky '70s clothes somewhere on the beach while everyone's watching.
how did they even let them broadcast this shit
nobody remembers the bad music from the 80's do they
i'm sure there was just as much pop shit that people complained about and said "good music is over why isnt everything as good as the 70's!!!"

Yeah, exactly how many of us had computers in our households when we were 5 or 2? I know I sure as hell didn't and I can manage just fine now. Hell I didn't have a computer until I was like 10. Stop over-reacting people. Jeez.
my dad taught me how to play UT when i was like 5
Guys, they're only doing it for a year, untwist your panties, jesus
ONLY a year?
if you like awful love songs and synthesizers that literally sound like someone trying to open a can of screaming hawks with a pair of sharpened bagpipes, step on down to 1986
Did you just compared magnificent analog synthesizers to the stereotypical description of dubstep?
Boy, you can't even comprehend the amount of trouble you've just dragged yourself into.
You can raise your kids with technology without them being constantly on it. When I was a kid we played outside because our parents kicked us out of the house on nice days. Get your kid outside and dont tell them what to do for about ten minutes, their imagination will kick in. I had access to computer too, but we "earned" time on it by doing chores. Of course for us it was jazz jackrabbit, jill of the jungle, and the original duke nukem (not that 3d stuff), but it should work the same for youtube, games, etc. If your kid cant greet a relative without trying to get their mobile device that's on you as a parent not the technology.
Yes, now when your kids are forced to enter a computer and technology filled work force and every day life, they will be perfectly adapted to not know what the fuck is going on.
Hey man maybe his kids are going to be garbage men, maybe they don't need to worry about that.

Master of Puppets was released in '86. As was Judas Priest's "Turbo". Poison, AC/DC, Black Flag, Sonic Youth also. Dio published a live album that year as well. There's also "Constrictor" (Alice Cooper), Megadeth's Peace Sells, and Guns N' Roses put out their first EP this year as well.
I wouldn't call any of those "awful love songs", and most of them didn't even use synths. And that's just '86, I could prattle on about the rest of the decade if you like.

Yeah but the same argument applies nowadays
how much you wanna bet people in the future will be saying the same thing he said, but about dubstep? sure it doesn't discredit all the great artists releasing stuff nowadays, but it doesn't make all the shitty dubstep any better either
aka it works both ways
