Everything about this movies marketing is a shit show.
Is this thing still not out yet? I thought it was released last month or so because of some stupid drama like this I heard about it.
They shot theirselves in the foot with the 'blaming the mysogin' approach... Time for the 2nd foot, with tagging haters as Trump-ists... Nothing to lose, I guess?
You know it's not only US people who doesn't like the movie. Also wow looks like movie studios finally found an excuse for making shitty reboots that don't need to with "you're just racist/misogynist/whatever". Also lol 'theory'.
Gonna need a new version of Godwin's law for Trump soon
Godwin's Wall
One good film? Superbad, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, 40 year old Virgin, Pineapple Express, Step Brothers. Talladega nights, The Cable Guy? Try harder.
He's helped produce the majority of those but he didn't direct/write any of them sans 40 year old virgin and Pineapple Express (story only), so maybe you try harder. [t]http://i.imgur.com/o20RFoy.png[/t] I say has-been because in the last 5-10 years his rap sheet has declined steeply in the writing/directing department and now he's bumped back onto purely producing TV shows. Like I said, just a suit.
Because being against means you're somehow also against feminism as well.
If it has women and you don't like it for whatever other reason, then you hate women and feminism obviously! On a more realistic tone, personaly I don't see the reasoning behind this movie. I don't think it was needed at all, and with all that backlash from the directors about "hating feminism", it ends up feeling like the movie was just an excuse to remake a movie with a female cast, because "progressive feminism!". Either that or they are just throwing "the biggest rocks they can find" to hurt people. Still. In the end, this movie wasn't necessary.
Because god knows there aren't TONS of legitimate grievances for this movie, right? For fucks sake, look at the midnight's edge videos covering this piece of dogshit. Many people don't even mention the fucking cast when they talk about why they aren't excited for this movie. But yeah, totally misogyny am I right fellas? No offense against the female cast, but I hope this movie bombs hard. It doesn't deserve to succeed after trying to pin the blame of the backlash on "misogynistic" fans who NEVER ASKED FOR THIS. Also I'm now being called a Trump supporter? Fuck you! The people backing this film could have kept their mouths shut and I would have simply not seen the movie. I kinda feel like this is a repeat of the Mighty No. 9 trailer. Insulting the very people who would be the ones going to buy shit to support it. Surprise, when you make your fans feel insulted, they don't want to support you. Who woulda thought!?
can I say the people who support this movie are the same bernie sander's supporters who used violence in San Jose?
I'm always amazed that even without bernie signs in the videos of violence, people still assume they were sanders supporters. How do we know they don't like gary johnson, or clinton? On topic, this director is so full of himself that he didn't stop to realize many people wouldn't like his film for reasons beyond the cast
Has-been Director says something to try and stay relevant. Water is wet.
How is Judd Apatow a 'has-been director', he's constantly working on stuff. I disagree with him and think it's stupid but damn dude.
Dude's got a name like a Star Wars planet, I wouldn't put too much stock in his opinion.
Gonna need a new version of Godwin's law for Trump soon
What about "smurfy's Law"?
damn sony's pulling out all the tricks now, except it still isnt and still won't work
how do you even come to that conclusion
How is Judd Apatow a 'has-been director', he's constantly working on stuff. I disagree with him and think it's stupid but damn dude.
He's produced more than 3 times as much stuff than directed. Can you really call his career as a director successful or progressive? He got lucky with 40 year old virgin but increasingly just takes a backseat. Literally anyone can be a successful producer these days even if they're attached to bad material.
The damage control for this movie has been funnier than the trailers.
The damage control for this movie has been funnier than the trailers.
It's also seemingly more emotionally charged with drama. It covers so many bases.
Nice try, I'm still not watching that shitty movie.
