if she is, then it's a good thing they didn't get the chance to have a kid
Well, I've penned this:

I mostly want to see how he responds to unbridled sympathy and understanding for his situation.

Though he won't read it with his kind of attitude

Probably not. However, one can always hope that empathy for another's situation can share perspective.
tbh I am legitimately afraid he won't be able to read it
Though he won't read it with his kind of attitude
Judging by his previous comments he probably won't even understand half of the words.
Not to ve racist but as soon as i heard escalade i kinda knew the person behind the wheel would be someone like him. And defending him is atrocious.

Where does race factor into this at all? Scummy kids like these are a dime-a-dozen regardless of race. Chavs, hooligans, w/e you want to name them, they come in all colors of the rainbow.
I hate the dumb fucks who try to defend the other dumb fucks that do shit like this. That guy in the OP going "fuck those people that died" is way too much. Goddamn people are so stupid.

I'm glad there are people like you who try to understand what the brother is going through. The brother is obviously going through some serious shit after this accident and he has no idea how to react to all the hate coming at him and his brother. I'm not saying that saying "fuck the dead people" is okay, but before labeling him as scum, try understanding what's going through his mind at the time.
Maybe I'm just overly optimistic about people.

Oh, I didn't go crazy judging him or anything. I know that he's probably under a massive amount of stress and he's scared that his brother's going to prison and stuff. The fact that he's a scummy kid is a detachable fact from this that I'd say even if this situation wasn't occurring.
Kinda sad to see this kinda shit happens, in Australia loads of people text while driving and it makes my blood boil.
The thing is, if the 17 year old had been gotten killed by someone speeding and texting everyone would be crying on his facebook saying that the driver deserves the death penalty or something.

I was saying Most of the douche bag "gangster" kids that went to my school drove their parent's Escalade to school and act like they are hot shit.

While defending him in the way his friends are on Facebook may be reprehensible, it is by no means atrocious.
You don't know him, so it is very easy to judge him. The closer you are to someone, the poorer your judgement gets due to the cognitive dissonance caused by what you believe the person to be and what you now know to be true. Even if someone you know commits murder, the first thing out of a person's mouth usually is "He was always such a nice person" because they are trying to justify their association with whom they are now trying to redefine their relationship with.
These people are his friends and family, and it is going to take a long time before they come to terms with what has happened in a sensible way.
At 7 am that morning they had someone they called a friend, brother, son, nephew, whatever that relation that may be.
At 10 am they had to redefine all of that to include or justify his actions or what they believe to be an accident.
Fuck me sideways, those comments infuriate me to no end. How can people possibly be that fucking ignorant and utterly idiotic about a situation like that?

Take it easy on his brother, he seems like a completely normal and hurt person from what I gather communicating with him and on his profile.

I am saying if his car is going fast enough to go through a fire hydrant and keep going to smash into a wall past that even after a swerve that means he is going way too fucking fast. I have literally no sympathy for people who are stupid and endangering other people's lives so they can txt, drink, eat, or be under the influence while they are behind the wheel. I have seen way too many people die from idiots like him who shouldnt be even driving. You can disagree with me all you want but he did what he did and now he has to live with it.
I think this is an absolute tragedy on all sides.
Mostly for the family who have been torn apart by the death of a child and her father, but also for the family of the driver because what tends to happen around these events is that the driver's family will come to his defence, as any family would. But because of this, they are demonized along with the perpetrator. Whilst their view that the driver should be defended entirely is misguided, they are still his family so it is only natural.
I don't believe that the driver should be defended much at all however. Even though he is young, he is still old enough to realise that driving dangerously will never end well. It still stands that he took the life of two innocent people, one of which was a child. Defending him will not educate him on how he was wrong, there comes a point where it is merely excusing him of his acts in his own mind.

I actually agree with you. He was acting in an unreasonably reckless fashion, and will pay the price.
His family is paying it surely as well.
Dumbass.
What do you expect from texting and driving?
I still think the brother was a bit out of it too much.
AT THE VERY LEAST, he should back off a bit and not even respond. His brother still was pretty reckless and saying the things he said seems completely overboard.
They aren't gangstas like in the movies where they kill whoever they feel like and get away with it.
Still, the driver is gonna be pretty fucked up from now on. Waking up to know he killed a man and his little girl, every day...
I wouldn't be able to live with that.
Everyone is just shocked, and that really just brings out sad stupidity, but I totally understand, I just wish some people would understand how stupid they're being.
Is he being charged?
Charged for vehicular manslaughter according to the police report.

argh, i feel incredibly sorry for the family and friends who have to suffer because of one stupid kids inconsiderate actions. I hope he goes to prison for life and never sees the outside world ever again. Teenagers should be limited to certain litres of cars such as a 1.5 and less.
my biggest worry is that he'll forgive himself and rationalize that it was just an acceptable mistake--someday soon. probably not much going on in that vapid shit-for-brains head of his anyway, so you never know.
sounds like the whole lot of his friends are fucking idiots too. funny thing is, these pics of him are an even greater caricature of what I had imagined he'd look like (although I assumed he was white). I assumed he was some saggy-ass trash, but he looks fucking ridiculous. I wonder if his parents are trash too, and how they're reacting to the situation? letting their kid act like that, not doing anything about those multiple speeding violations, allowing him to drive some ghetto souped-up SUV.. but I do feel sorry for his family, I can imagine they're in immense pain (hopefully worrying about the right things).
I live in concord too, but I've never had speeding violations so I don't know what the legislation is on that--at what point do they suspend your license? I mean, he kind of screamed "take my fucking license away forever" before this happened.

You live in concord? How old are you? Damn, I live in Clayton.
Those fucking people on facebook... I feel more hatred towards them than the driver right now.
