We know that there''s a possible threat (we had a fugitive a few hundred feet from our school running from the cops), but no one flipped out and caused chaos.

If you have an inner city school equipped with metal detectors because they have a history of violence there, the odds are different than in some rural-ass school a mile past nowhere that hasn't even seen a fist fight in ten years.

Maybe they where trying to show them the science of ballistics.
