They named the place after Ned Flanders
i didnt no simspsons was popular enough that belgiumers would name a place after it
I like how this discussion has devolved into a football argument.
I heard the German commanders rotated out all the German troops who participated in this and replaced them with a fresh force, but the British didn't, so they were still reluctant to fight afterwards.
I hope they end it by fucking shooting at each other.
Your edginess is scaring the children
I'm still surprised that so many men could put aside their enmity so easily and go out for a friendly football match. And before long they were shooting, stabbing, and bludgeoning each other. Geez.
To me the interesting part isnt that they started shooting at each other again after, but that they stopped shooting each other to have it happen in the first place.
the world wars were extremely interesting. horrible yes, but so many interesting tales of good came out of such horrible times. You really don't see ANYTHING like this happening anymore, and chances are no one ever will again.
Bahahahaha, fuck off.
When kids play football the team with the most born and raised football fanatics wins, every time. Without training from a young age its a depressing shitty sport to play and impossible to pick up and play instantly even marginally well.
Easiest sport by far is cricket. Thick bat so its easy to hit the ball, even the weakest swings send it flying, and the after-hit stage is simple, run from A-B, repeat.
Bull fucking shit. I barely understand football but when we play football in PE I always enjoy it.
That is why football is the best sport. Such a easy game, everybody could play it.
Rugby would like to have a word with you.
I've always been a rugby player (mainly because I'm much better at it than football) but I still enjoy a game of football every now and again, as long as it's not taken too seriously.
But you're always going to have the Fedora's who disregard football as a sport for "Chav idiots".
Also they could really re-enact the war by getting the casuals down.
I wear that badge with pride after I watched how those so good at it they thought life was going to be easy as soon as they became professional footballers ended up in the deepest ditches of society and lowest School classes.
I am fucking glad I wasn't indoctrinated into liking Football by a pair of Soccer parents.
Clearly you're indoctrinated by Cricket play

Yeah but cricket's REALLY boring. At least to me anyway.
