I had people insult and make fun of me, then I got into a big fight with some guy a year above in school, I lost but nobody made fun of me again.

School is weird when your a dude and there's some pack hierarchy going on, probably worse for the girls

It's weird how as a nerdy guy who most people wouldn't poke with a pointy stick I feel I have tons of close friend's that I trust and genuinely like and know they feel the same about me.

I have many close friends, but very occasionally I would have to cut one out of my life every time due to crap they cause etc. And every time I would get hurt by it, but once I cut them out of my life, I am much happier :)

Have a few close friends at college and from even before then. Sort of worried a bit for the future though as I go into work because I don't think there will be not nearly as many people who share the same interests as me and the best I do for going out is going to the cinema or a restaurant. Nothing else really appeals to me.

That is why I have close ring of friends and I am just fine with it.

QUALITY > QUANTITY
