But if you start systematically killing fascists, then aren't you the fascist?
"Systemically killing X" is not exactly the textbook definition of being a fascist.
Also I see nothing about anarchists in the OP, where did this sprout from?
i think killing should be the most extreme last resort, but it can't be something you just flat out say can never happen, because fascists don't give a shit about pacifism. it's like how gandhi said that the british should have used non-violence against the nazi's like he did against the british, but that wouldn't work against the nazi's because non-violence just means they have an easier time putting you into a gas chamber

again though i don't think the situation in greece calls for such drastic measures!
at what point does killing a golden dawn member go from murder to self-defense?

it's assumed that the perpetrators were anarchist because this sort of conflict has been building up between golden dawn and anarchists for a while. also, a popular leftist was murdered by a golden dawn member not too long ago so it is likely this was a retaliatory attack.
For what it's worth, I believe there times when it would be legitimate to shoot and kill agents of a political party aspiring to totalitarian rule. I know because my family has learned about that personally, and the cost of what happens when people don't do it.
But Greece has not reached that point in relation to the Golden Dawn. Hell, they've even gotten blacklisted (pun intended) as a criminal organization and most of their leadership has been tossed in jail where it belongs. They're arsehats, but I don't think they're the greatest threat to Greek Democracy (that would probably be SYRIZA and/or the KKE, and I don't think it is anywhere near time to consider shooting them).
As the great and immortal Larry McDonald refined, there are four boxes to be used *in the proper order*for the defense of liberty. The Ammo box is the very last place for a reason, and the Greeks aren't there yet.
