Does this mean we'll see BetaFireRed and UpsilonLeafGreen?

For some reason my child self skipped the 3rd gen (as well as the 5th gen later but w/e), so I don't know what the big hype is about 3rd gen

Can't wait to fight the frontier brains again! Emerald had some of the most fun post game challenges and the Battle Frontier was such a hoot.

I want to see a Pokemon game with a completely different combat system. And not a spinoff either, something like a full 3d open world console one. With action combat.

it's as if a lot of people didn't know that X/Y includes many Pokemon from all gens spread all over the game, and straight up give you a Gen. 1 starter at the beginning of the game really surprised that there are still some pokemon fans that haven't picked up X/Y yet (for non money-based reasons). I mean if your reason for doing so is because you're an edgy 90/00's kid that can't stand the sight of Trubbish or Klefki, that whole "forced generation" thing isn't even a thing in X/Y. It's just sad to hear someone complain about how they refuse to play any game over Gen 3/4, when the fact is they're really missing out. think we can all agree that X/Y did have the worst villains to date though

I'd imagine that it would have took up a good chunk of the development time to remake all 700+ pokemon and everything surrounding them and it does show.

Oh wow, they're finally doing it? Remaking the Pokemon game I replayed over like 5 or 6 times as a kid. This might be the one that finally gets me to get a 3DS. Dammit dammit dammit Nintendo. Damn, I still remember when Ruby and Sapphire first came out. Saw a comercial on TV on a saturday morning, I went "HOLY SHIT!" at it, looked at my mom and just went "I MUST HAVE THAT, PLEASE" And since I was a fucking brat, I got it. Was so happy.

I would always go to my aunt's house and see my cousins' GameCube and I was so fucking jealous and I wanted one too. I kept telling my mom that I wanted a GameCube for Christmas but she wouldn't let me. Ultimately my aunt got me and my sister GameBoy Advances, and a year later we borrowed our cousin's copy of Blue and then they got us Ruby and Sapphire. I still remember the day we pressured my mom into taking us to the nearest Toys R Us so we could get a Game Link Cable. Best days of my fucking life. I'd wake up at like 6 AM every morning to play Sapphire on my GameBoy. My mom eventually started hiding it because I kept waking up so damn early, but every morning I'd find it and lie on the couch with it for the rest of the day. Shit, the memories are all coming back.

I still haven't beaten X and Y for some reason. Maybe I should do that... I don't know it's a pretty good game but I found it too easy and got bored.

Suddenly 3DS Sales rise again. Fuck yes I've been waiting for this a looong loong time. 3rd gen is the last gen I played with the exception of Pokemon XY.

Hot damn, i fucking loved sapphire. I could never finish it, though.

So many hours put into sapphire I broke the internal clock in the cartridge. Silver will always be my favorite though but this is very welcomed. Sucks I can't find Soul Silver for a decent price.
