The idea of a biodome is so very impractical considering the scale of a single farming operation.

If American agriculture continues to decline, we would lose some of our super power 'cred' and millions if not billions of people could go hungry.

I guess we can boost funding to crop engineering and desalinization plants. But that could take a lot of time to install and see the results.
