I don't know really besides the fact he was in a fight with Trayvon at some point. I haven't really kept up so I was asking if it was known who initiated the fight.
With Zimmerman's defense being self-defense, his viewpoint is apparently that Martin did attack him first. Whether this actually happened I'm not sure, but something to consider is that Zimmerman got out of his vehicle and chased a kid down who had done absolutely nothing wrong. Who is to say that Zimmerman accosted him first, armed, and physically larger and Martin felt like he had no other way out then self defense? Zimmerman had some cuts and bruises so obviously there was an altercation, but it was in no way balanced. Zimmerman had a firearm and a sizeable weight and height advantage on Martin. These things are relevant.

Zimmerman's face was also pretty badly messed up, it wasn't just a few cuts.

He looks to have taken a good many blows to his face.
A broken nose and no kidding it is less than fatal a gunshot. He looks to have taken a good many blows to his face.
Probably because he was rushing someone with a gun.
Probably because he was rushing someone with a gun.
Zimmerman stopped pursuit after the 911 operator told him he didn't need to pursue. He was most likely just standing around or walking back to his truck when the altercation happened. Are you suggesting Zimmerman was running after Trayvon with his gun drawn the moment before he received his injuries?
Probably because he was rushing someone with a gun.
Or they jumped on top of him.
Zimmerman stopped pursuit after the 911 operator told him he didn't need to pursue. Zimmerman was just standing around when Martin, carrying his tea and skittles, violently attacked him. I'm sure this is what happened. Oh wait nobody knows what happened between him hanging up and the gunshots other then a few witnesses who have already changed their stories a few times.
I mean look at this racist stuff right here even ^^^^^ It's fucking everywhere
Racist stuff? saying Prepare for the Race Riots isn't racist. You remember what happened after the Rodney King incident? It could happen if Zimmerman walks, but luckily with cell phones and computers in this day and age, nobody's attention span in this country is longer than 9 seconds so hopefully not many people will remember being pissed about it
Yes. Zimmerman was just standing around when Martin, carrying his tea and skittles, violently attacked him. I'm sure this is what happened. And exactly, its a very, very weak case for the prosecution.

I'm asking you as to what you believed happened in regards to starting the altercation? You're suggesting that Zimmerman just chased Trayvon with his weapon drawn until Trayvon acted in self-defense.
Martin could have been an asshole or it could have been Zimmerman. And exactly, its a very, very weak case for the prosecution.
You are ignoring context though. Martin went out for snacks. There is absolutely nothing supporting the idea that he was looking for an altercation. So why did one start? Why was Zimmerman worried about losing sight of his "suspect"?

What the hell has that to do with anything. Martin was also taller. if you look up pictures: Him in the middle. Watch this reenactment video that was done a ONE day after the shooting. Skip to 9:13 for the part about the operator telling him not to follow Trayvon. Not exactly proof, but it adds up if you're not a complete idiot. You're suggesting that Zimmerman just chased Trayvon with his weapon drawn until Trayvon acted in self-defense.
I believe Zimmerman felt that Martin was up to no good and decided to countermand what he was told by the dispatcher and followed him, fearing he would lose a possible criminal in a neighborhood with a high rate of crime. An altercation occurred and Martin was shot. I'm not suggesting I have all the answers but I feel like the overzealous neighborhood watch security coordinator might have triggered the altercation, not the kid walking home with skittles and juice talking to his girlfriend on his phone.

Actually, on the video i posted, skip to 9:00
Shut the fuck up with tea and skittles you literal blind idiot, he would have had them in his pockets and hands free. What the hell has that to do with anything.
Actually the fact that he went shopping says a lot about what he was doing that night. Someone who goes to a store and buys stuff and walks back to his house isn't typically going to be casing joints or starting fights on a sidewalk. I watched the reenaction. Explain to me how Zimmerman saying how things went down makes those things factual? Why would Martin turn and yell at him? Why would he approach Zimmerman then starting beating him after he reached his hands into his pockets? What if he brandished his gun? What if Martin didn't even approach him at all? Why are we automatically assuming that Martin must have done something wrong to deserve to be shot?

Are you trying to say something with those pictures? I have silly pictures of myself floating around somewhere. I hope that if I'm shot in the streets those don't get dragged up and used against me.
I feel like even if Zimmerman walks somebody out there is going to do something stupid in retaliation
Are you trying to say something with those pictures? I have silly pictures of myself floating around somewhere. I hope that if I'm shot in the streets those don't get dragged up and used against me.
Yeah, I'm saying you're a literal idiot. Trayvon was just a punk who wanted a fight when he could've just kept going home. End of story bitch, shut the fuck up.
I feel like even if Zimmerman walks somebody out there is going to do something stupid in retaliation
The prosecutions prospects were doomed as soon as they charged him with second degree murder. Murder requires a motive, and I don't really think there was one in this case. [editline]22nd June 2013[/editline]
Trayvon was just a punk who wanted a fight when he could've just kept going home.
How do you know this?
There's also a difference between silly ironic pictures and wanting to be a thug. Wannabes try to act like tough shit: Trayvon going back to fight Zimmerman. Get it through you're head you tard. Stop thinking in your own shoes and actually think in others place. (User was banned for this post ("Flaming" - Megafan))
I hate to think that the charge was due to public outrage but I cant think of why they would charge him so severely.
the disproportionate number of black-on-white crimes the statistic for the number of SYG cases with black victims should come as no surprise to anybody
Things a racist would say for 100
I hate to think that the charge was due to public outrage but I cant think of why they would charge him so severely.
might have to do with him chasing down a teenager for being black and then killing him
might have to do with him chasing down a teenager for being black and then killing him
might have to do with the fact that there is no evidence that he chased him down.
might have to do with him chasing down a teenager for being black and then killing him
Best contact the prosecution since you obviously have undeniable proof of this. Goddangit ninja'd
The strawman in this thread is fucking hilarious.
