Honestly a wise decision for Sony, as they can skip the labor laws and pay people in dimes for slightly lower quality and more shipping and tariffs. Isn't globalization grand?

In Australia, I used to work one shift a week at a factory and got more a week than I did on the dole. Think the reason for this though is we have a much higher minimum wage. The Dole is pretty much a static what you can survive on. Because we get more for each hour, it takes less hours to get enough to survive on. In the US, to survive they can either work a minimum wage job full time and get a tiny bit or they can go on the dole and get a bit less. Either way they are fucked so why work for it?
