it's not wearing a t-shirt, it's that t-shirt. If you see nothing wrong with this shirt then well you better take a look at yourself quite honestly.
k u edited in that second line after but still I do not think it's an overreaction. wearing that shirt is just declaring that you're a piece of shit.
There are much worse things you can do to morph into literal human garbage, like rape, but wearing a t-shirt condoning rape is so minor.
im not saying it's literally the worst thing in the world but that doesn't mean it's not awful. It's disgusting.

it's obviously not as bad as literally raping someone but you just typed for real on the internet 'wearing a t-shirt condoning rape is so minor'. that's one of the least minor things t-shirts can be involved in. you'd have to actually kill someone with a t-shirt to do a worse thing with a t-shirt.

It's a joke about rape. It's in poor taste, but that doesn't make someone subhuman.
Well I mean yeah they're still human just a shitty one
It's a joke about rape. It's in poor taste, but that doesn't make someone subhuman.
There's joking about rape for the purpose of lowbrow humor, and then there's using that same lowbrow humor to try to market shit to asshats.
It's a joke about rape. It's in poor taste, but that doesn't make someone subhuman.
i dunno where y'all are pulling 'subhuman' from. you can be a waste of space and still be perfectly human.
i love my mum that much
I don't. If my mum bought me a shirt that said that, I'd tell her that she was a bigot and tell her she can either return it, or I'm throwing it away. We're both adults and she can either handle the criticism or I really don't want her in my life. That's implying that my mum would be bigoted enough to buy a rape joke shirt anyway.
Much like trolls, they do it for a reaction, this time to get the bad attention and have even more people buy the shirts. It may not be moral, but to earn sales anything goes .
It's a joke about rape. It's in poor taste, but that doesn't make someone subhuman.
That's what I was getting at. I'm just very bad at conveying myself.
if i ever saw someone wearing a shirt like this, i'd feel obligated to roast them and make them take it off and walk home shirtless
Wow man you sound tough, I bet no one messes with you.
The fact that this made it through the entire process from design to store is proof neanderthals exist today.
The fact that this made it through the entire process from design to store is proof neanderthals exist today.
Making a shirt isn't hard to do

What the Fucks with all the Racism towards Neanderthals? Some of my ancestors were fucking Neanderthals you Bigot.
Poor taste always ends up on some shirt. Luckily they're getting discarded. This kind of humour isn't funny.
Do you have a stick up your ass? Learn to take a joke.
Do you have a stick up your ass? Learn to take a joke.
humour isn't universally defensible
lmao
Do you have a stick up your ass? Learn to take a joke.
"learn to take a joke" = "I dont care about your feelings i just dont want to take responsibility for my actions, so it's your fault for being offended as opposed to mine for saying something offensive"
[editline]24th September 2014[/editline]
i mean i know you didnt make the joke here but you make it seem like it's okay to say this stuff regardless of its bad taste which puts you about the same level.
OK so let me get this straight. This shirt with a rape joke is sold in a mall called SM. For brief a moment I thought that there was a mall somewhere in the Philippines entirely dedicated to selling bondage gear and kinky stuff. :v:
Hey all,
I've seen traffic come from here several times. I run that shirtwascash website mentioned (not the rape shirt). I actually would love to get involved here since I have several gaming-specific things in the works. Mostly aimed at being high quality, unique, and community-focused. I'm also a gamer myself, although I find myself more nostalgically poking my computer than anything else lately. I have some ideas I would love to throw out there and get feedback on, which board is best for something like that?
Back to the topic... the problem with a rape shirt is statistically a lot of people have been affected by those incidents. And it's deeply personal. You'd be very likely to get punched in the face... but there are a lot of people that would want kind of reaction.
Any way to change my username? I made this months ago and prefer "doesitmakesound".
That doesn't seem entirely relevant, but, Hi.
I guess.
That shit is internet humor, i.e. something that would leave a bad impression unless you say it anonymously. Whipping out that slogan in real-life will only results in an extremely creepy impression on people. Wearing a shirt like that is social suicide, even if you do it ironically.

There are people with low enough social status/dignity to wear shit like this and basically be aesthetically unchanged.
Can't go lower then 0 :v:

You being offended isn't the "offenders" problem though. It's your problem. Why should someone care about your opinion if you've never met them, and you have no bearing on their lives?
it's called being a decent human being lmao

life is a lot easier when youre not an edgy asshole!!

I've got some shirt ideas if you need one.
Who defines being "decent" anyway? Is there some sort of universal definition of "decent"? Newsflash: people joke about any and every topic on the face of the earth, and they have every right to do so.
Man even a young kid knows a t-shirt joking about rape isn't decent it's just basic human morality :v:

You're right, they have a right to joke about any topic they want. (Despite it being horrible)
But that doesn't make it less horrible when other people view it in life.
Oh no, how horribly inconvenient, you had to view that persons shirt for a few moments.
It's just one of those moments where someone is going to call you out on it in public. I'm not saying this shirt's going to get someone killed but it's going to raise a few brows until you get those few people
