Next time you go on a flight stick a massive dildo down your pants and watch the reaction of the people behind the X-ray scanners.
Bonus points if you're female.
I can't wait for the article where some dies from radiation poisoning, or gets cancer, because of exposure to these things and the one where a security guard is charged as a Pedo.
None of this shit works. It's just designed to make the braindead travelers feel safe. How could they say the system worked when a bunch of passengers beat the shit out of a guy who smuggled a bomb on board? How can the system work if they take your bottle of water, but let you keep several rounds of live ammunition in your carry-on (happened to me 2 days after the Xmas bomber last year while travelling through LAX security)? This security shit doesn't work, and just costs the country a lot of money for some baseless peace of mind.
For once I agree with everything you said. I don't know who coined the term "security theatre" but it's 100% true. All for show, zero effectiveness. I know I'll never be flying into the United States as long as policies like this are in place, and I know that quite a few Europeans feel the same way. (On another forum I heard a quote - it was easier to get out of East Germany than the United States today)
Surprised nobody posted "Brb getting job in airport". You let me down, FP.
everything causes cancer, get over it world.
brb, getting job in airport.
Surprised nobody posted "Brb getting job in airport". You let me down, FP.
I'm sorry :gonk:
They have the option of refusing, but will then be subjected to what the TSA calls an 'enhanced' manual search by an agent.
The experience sure is enhancing.
Get a boner. Put on your :smug: face. Walk into scanner. Watch the look on their face as a shameless engorged member protrudes into their monitors. Keep the smug face. This is vital. You must let them know the boner is not accidental, but without saying any words. The scanning procedure just got more fun.
Oh yeah that's some hot as hell ghost porn where do I sign up?
the scans are horse shit i can't believe we are still on the dumb train over airport security.
When they say statistically get skin cancer, is that the same as statistically getting cancer from breathing?
When they say statistically get skin cancer, is that the same as statistically getting cancer from breathing?
No, X rays hit your atoms and knock loose some electrons, air does not do that.
people are going to hate me for saying this but a few lives taken by cancer are a lot better than hundreds by a bomb
Pop a RadX before you head into the heat.
people are going to hate me for saying this but a few lives taken by cancer are a lot better than hundreds by a bomb
Too bad nobody would get cancer.
Screening at an airport X-ray scanner .02 microsieverts Negligible risk 10 microsieverts/year Transcontinental flight 20 microsieverts Average yearly radiation exposure from the environment 3000 microsieverts Chest X-ray radiation exposure 100 microsieverts Mammogram 700 microsieverts Abdominal CT scan 10,000 microsieverts Enough to cause radiation sickness 1,000,000 microsieverts Enough to cause death 6,000,000 to 8,000,000 microsieverts
NPR Also, the entire "OMG Cancer" thing is expressed by few scientists. Face it, these scanners are safer than expected, and unless a total malfunction occurs, will give out minimal, safe amounts of radiation.
people are going to hate me for saying this but a few lives taken by cancer are a lot better than hundreds by a bomb
These don't detect shit They're to make the dumbasses who fly feel safe

Also, the total after ten flights is 2.0, still very negligible. You people are acting as if the smallest amount of radiation is going to kill you, you don't die from radiation sickness after walking outside, or watching a CRT screen, do you? What's wrong with being groped occasionally?

When I have to go through these things I make sure to have an erection and I stare into the security guard's eyes.
i'd love to use this on teenage girls
as an individual who has about 12-14 flights per year and would be grossly insecure about random fuckers staring at me naked i'd say "big whoop"; they see literally thousands upon thousands of people per day, and this is a measure to make sure everyone as a whole is significantly more secure. This technology would streamline the security process, and god knows that people who don't fly don't know how to pack / go through security and make life terrible for everyone else.
the scans are horse shit i can't believe we are still on the dumb train over airport security.
Better safe than sorry doesn't mean anything to you huh [editline]14th November 2010[/editline]
These don't detect shit They're to make the dumbasses who fly feel safe
Yeah, they do. Stop being an idiot.
been through the scan thing, no big deal. everyones got genitals, everyone poops and the sun is shooting radiation all over the got dam place the fondling process is not cool though
Yeah, they do. Stop being an idiot.
They didn't detect that toner cartridge But they banned toner cartridges now so WE'RE SAFE GUYS I wonder what would happen if the company installing these scanners smuggled a bomb into the airport disguised as a scanner Besides, it seems like there have been more attempts to blow up planes (that made it ONTO THE PLANE) since these asinine security procedures came into effect, they're doing jack shit. Roll back to pre-9/11 level security and watch as nothing changes

Also, the scanners are in effect at very few airports, hence less chance to catch the bombers. Also, how convenient of you to ignore my posts.
