I just played a couple matches. We had a guy get stuck in a statue in the first fifteen seconds of a match. Thank god he was playing Spirit Breaker
I'm most excited for Gmod 2
Are you kidding me? JBMod 2 will be first and I'm much more excited for that than this piece of shit "Garry mod"
and then give it 4 new special infected, a bunch of new weapons and 4 brand new survivors and then rename it to Left 4 Dead 3
That is pretty much exactly what they're doing.
If they ever consider "porting over" TF2, rather than alter the game itself and tangle with the mishmash of updates piled on top of it, it'd probably make more sense and maybe take less work to build it anew in Source 2, with all the content of TF2 "Classic Source" being implemented in a way that didn't comprise hundreds of patches over several years. It could have its own client and all, although they'd also need to have a system that allows players of TF2 "Classic Source" to transfer all of their progress from the old client to the new Source 2 client, so they won't have to re-grind all of those hats and items from nearly 8 years of mercenaries and hat-simulations. That said, due to Valve's "I do what I feel like" structure, it'd all depend on whether or not the Team Fortress team has the interest and motivation to rebuild the entire game in Source 2.
You're absolutely right, but I'd still argue that CS:GO needs it the most with constant complaints about hitbox issues, sound problems, graphical errors and all that. Dota 2 was obviously going to be the first since it's got the biggest playerbase. I suppose if even Valve are going by where there's the most money then CS:GO will be next. Not gonna lie, I have no interest in TF2 being revamped because in my mind that game is all but dead. Now all I really see it as is a version of Garry's Mod that hipsters that don't like GMod play since the only stuff I really see out of TF2 are the Warioware mod and the Slender Fortress mod. Maybe that's just me.
