I'd like to think that it's worth the risk if the alternative is living in fear because of what fucking clothes you wear. It's your right to wear whatever clothes you want and I'd rather exercise that right and risk bring the violent fuckwads out of the woodwork than give up that right out of fear. It seems like a rather far-fetched scenario though, I doubt you'd be in any real danger.
The only way to stop another trump from appearing is fix the corruption issues. Until then, its only going to get worse. Duarte any one?
The corruption will keep going as long this nation is divided between left and right.
Hm, I think I'll wear a Clinton-Kaine shirt when I go to the polls. Fuck these assholes and their intimidation tactics.
Are you even allowed to do that?
Are you even allowed to do that?
Why wouldn't you be able to wear whatever you want?
Why wouldn't you be able to wear whatever you want?
I'm afraid to go to the polls wearing my Trump tshirt at this point.
Why wouldn't you be able to wear whatever you want?

The prevention stems from laws that prohibit "electioneering" at the polls. Just as poll workers are not allowed to hand out pamphlets or display signs on behalf of the candidates, a number of states prevent voters from wearing campaign paraphernalia in the voting booth.
So, whether you live in Delaware (which bans campaign gear at polling places) or Kentucky (which doesn’t), we’d recommend that you avoid any extra hassle at the polls and refrain from wearing your affection for your candidate-of-choice on your sleeve.
Some states have banned campaign clothing. Not everywhere though. Double check the laws in your area.
Why wouldn't you be able to wear whatever you want?
I guess American rules are different. When I voted a year ago the ppl running the booth told everyone to keep who they are voting for strictly private until you leave the room.
Why wouldn't you be able to wear whatever you want?
generally not a good idea to wear political material on your person out in public during election season, especially nearby or in polling places
one of the reasons is intimidation
I'm not even a US citizen and I want off this wild ride
this is honestly the thing im more terrified about. trump? he's awful, but so is hillary. the biggest issue is that trumps fanbase is so rabid, so dignified in what they want to do, that its going to be awful either way. if trump is elected, they'll all feel justified, all that hate and anger toward everything. and if he isn't elected, riots, bloodshed. will it happen on the level they want? of course not. but I know it'll happen. you don't have this kind of craziness on the side of hillary.
Sure, they're the ones who only do it.

Well, this just dropped: https://youtu.be/5IuJGHuIkzY
Basically: People are paid by the Clinton Campaign and DNC to incite violence at rallies.
EDIT: Trump rallies
I am terrified this year that no matter what happens, no matter who wins, there is going to be violence in America in November and a creation of awful divisions. I fear that the rifts being opened, especially by Trump's rhetoric, have created a Pandora's box.
The best we can hope for, if we end up with a "Red November", is that the bullshit of this election triggers reforms that prevents another "Trump or Clinton", while a third party can actually stand a chance.
It's still sad that so many fail to realise that there's always a third option. At first, a coin might look like it has only two sides, but if the conditions are right, a coin can land on its edge, esoteric and referential as that may sound.

This is one of James O'Keefe's pieces. He's forever sullied his reputation beyond repair. Even if the information is true, he's lied so blatantly in the past and spliced together footage to deliberately deceive and mislead the public so frequently, few people are going to take him seriously.

Do you have a source other than a youtuber with video titles like "Clinton delegate explains how Democrats will ban all guns"

James O'Keefe is a big fat liar who has a history of editing and splicing footage to fit his narratives. At this point anything he says should be taken as a lie posted up for his own motives and nothing more.
You can literally just google this guy's name and everything adds up:

You're missing the part where James O'Keefe is less reliable than a magic 8 ball.
I despise Clinton and a lot of the higher ups in her campaign staff, but this is garbage tier evidence. If anyone else had brought this forward I'd give it an honest consideration. O'Keefe has done through his "journalism" the equivalent of falsifying data in my field. Were I to conduct myself the way he does in my profession, I'd be barred from academia, from the industry, all of my previous work would be thrown into the trash, the reputations of everyone that's ever worked with me would be called into question, and in some cases I might even be thrown in jail.
I intend to hold journalists to high standards precisely because we have so much evidence of them applying spin or outright lying. They don't get a free pass just because they have to sell controversy or worried about being scooped. If you're cool with believing someone that willingly lies and deceives to justify his worldview you're absolutely no better than the assholes at CNN that colluded with the democrats, or the assholes that lied about vaccines, or the assholes that lie about gun stats when trying to get them banned.

No, he's the guy from the ACORN fiasco.
To be honest, I would have voted for McCain, given the opportunity. I used to lean much farther right than I do now, especially on economic matters and foreign policy. I was still too young to vote at that time, however. By 2012 my perspective had changed, and I found Romney to be pretty damn unpalatable. Trump is obviously somebody I would NEVER have been able to vote for in good conscious. I doubt there will be ever be another candidate as personally revolting at Donald Trump. He is a disgusting, hateful, childish human being.
I'm in much the same boat. I voted for McCain in 2008. I voted Johnson in 2012 because Romney gave off a sleezy used car salesman vibe to me. I'll vote Johnson again this year because Trump is batshit crazy.
I don't think there is anything for them to tear him on TBH.
Some of the dumbest ones I've seen recently were the time he bought a house for $600K, and the time that he went to the Soviet Union for his honeymoon. :/
Oh god, and the "rape fantasy" thing from his college years. Such a filthy commie.
A more valid concern that I saw brought up is that he wasn't able to hold steady work until he started his career in politics, and that he was off and on the welfare system up to that point. Which personally I find a non-issue. He may have had assistance on and off, but he also did odd jobs and a lot of volunteer work during that time.

As a New Mexican, I'll tell you this much: Please don't vote Johnson. He's not bat-shit crazy like Trump, but the problem is that people assume that just because he's "sane" then he has good ideas.
Right. I remember now how the high profile republicans all love people like Harry Reid, Fienstein, and even Hillary, but just hated Obama.
Wake up and smell the progressives vs conservatives. They dislike his politics, not his skin color.
Did I say it WASN'T because he was a Democrat?
If he wasn't black, we wouldn't have hardline conservatives embracing wild conspiracy theories about he's Muslim or not from America. The GOP would have given any Democrat a massively hard time, but Obama being black is the cherry on top. Don't act like that's not an issue, because it is, and it's caused a lot more pandering to hardcore far-righters.

I don't like all of Johnson' policies, scratch the surface to look underneath and you see flaws but Trump is batshit like you said and Hillary gives off the same vibe as Romney as well as her atrocious foreign policy. If more of Libya is what we have to look forward to, then no thanks.
I'd rather make a protest vote right now then condone the monster that is Trump or help sate Clinton' appetite for power.

I dislike fewer of his policies than the other candidates. Besides, policies are a political wish list. They'll never accomplish all of them. Most presidents only accomplish a couple, and that's because they're more mainstream and politically neutral.

After watching Johnson talk about and debate his policies, I lost a lot of respect for him.
Scott Foval, the man from the O'Keefe video, has supposedly been let go. Statement by president of American Way.

Johnson doesn't even know basic current events and geography
