But then you might as well just fire a rocket at it or something.
The whole point is to let soldiers be as close to the point of entry as possible, with little risk to them.
Fuck eliminating risk.

Oh world. Stop giving Activision more ideas. "Predator Water-bottle imbound!"
lol, letting reality set limits to what can be in video games
May I interest you, good sir, in Dwarf Fortress?
It's a game uniquely suited to your needs.

I'd like to see the data, if you don't mind.
2-Liter bottle rocket launcher next please.
This is only good for the cool factor, it's very impracticable when placed into tactical uses. Traditional explosives can do drastic amount of damage to the surface and behind it with a much smaller footprint.
I was not prepared for the damage dealt to that first wall. I was not expecting it to just get ripped apart. That's awesome.
Even though it causes a significant amount of damage to the wall, the effect on everything behind the wall looks almost nil. That's much better then using a traditional explosive.
But they obviously aren't the same bottles according to the video so why are they comparing it to office coolers?
Well of course you can't see any damage behind the wall, there was nothing behind it. The bottle, however, carried on travelling, we know this because of the van example. Look closely, there were two holes in the van.
Which means if you were unfortunate to be on the other side of that wall, the damage done to you would be far from nil. We're looking at cracked ribs, ruptured organs and all the other fun bits.
