"anti government messages"
Maybe it will have something to do with the insurrectionists.
The "Microsoft Korea", "PC/Online Games/Action" and "gambling" makes me think it'll be an online F2P game.

Hm, I never considered that.
I always did think that Halo would be more fun with a mouse and keyboard instead of a controller. Hope we get to test that theory out!

Actually it may not be an online game exactly, PC and Online games are categorized as the same:

And it is more likely as an above user stated that the blue icons mean that rating is not a concern
The "Microsoft Korea", "PC/Online Games/Action" and "gambling" makes me think it'll be an online F2P game.
I think they might just be listing every category that a game could be classified as, then there are those icons underneath them that indicate how severe or prominent they are in that game. If there are more than those 7 categories then it's not the case.
However, if it is, then with Halo Bootcamp it looks like there's just violence as a notable part, which doesn't fit with the core Halo games, seeing as the flood are pretty terrifying. Still could be some F2P or promotional game, but I don't think there's gambling.

I wouldn't really say that Halo 2 works with a mouse. More like, is mildly compatible.

You can test that theory right now! go play Halo CE the MP is still active on PC.
Before I get Halo for PC, is there a way to tune the FOV?
The demo gave me motion sickness.
oh fuck why do my stupid questions get pageking

I'm going to take a wild gander here and guess this; it's not a port of anything aside from maybe Halo 3's base gameplay, it'll probably be a F2P FPS like Call of Duty: Online in an attempt to cash in on the Korean market. It'd explain the rating board factor.

Halo 3 PC?
Either way the only source is some korean site which means it might be some shitty korean/chinese FPS like that call of duty rip off and that tf2 rip off.
Microsoft Korea is not a game studio, they are R&D / Corporate offices, this isn't the first time an MS game was first heard of due to the rating being filed in Korea first.
I played it first as a Halo fanboy back when it came out, before I had an appreciation for jazz music and before I had watched Firefly. I loved it then, but coming back and playing it 4 years later after picking up on the aforementioned things made it a bit of a different experience. I still kinda wish it had been longer.
Longer like Firefly should have been?
You know what they should port out of all the Halos...Halo wars, now thats just a game crying out to be placed on the PC.

Halo Wars would be bad on PC too. It's way too fucking simple and dull to actually have fun with. I'm guessing that's the reason they discontinued it on PC so people wouldn't notice.

Uh, how was it dull and simple? It seemed rather fine as an RTS which it is. Unless your tastes of an RTS are quite off(CnC4 fan?)

It's been a while so I can't give a good explanation but I agree that it's dull and simple. It HAD to be dull and simple to work "well" on the gamepad with 512mb to work with. If we're gonna have a Halo RTS on the PC then let's do it right. The only part about the whole game that stood out was the Spartan trio kicking ass cutscene. I don't use this argument usually, but take away the Halo IP and maybe you'll see how dull it is.
here's hoping halo reach comes out in 2020!
Halo Wars was good as a sort of "training wheels" RTS, I think. It was simple enough to be accessible to people who hadn't played an RTS before and fun enough in its simplicity. Because of it introducing me to that sort of thing, I was more open to exploring RTSs instead of assuming that they were yet another genre of game that wouldn't interest me.
Halo Wars was ok, but it was more annoying than fun to play with the gamepad.
If they do port Halo 3 over, it'd be great id they would offer a bundle with all three games and put them on Steam.
tbh Halo wars had the best controller setting for an RTS on the console. Compared to others...

Nope, that's actually the ODST PC launch date

It's not that bad if you turn acceleration off in the control panel after you launch the game.
I still don't get why it automatically turns it on though.

At least it's not as bad as the port of Battlefront 2 where when you move the mouse fast enough then stop moving it, it just keeps on turning.
