A simple "that's unnecessary and disrespectful" would have sufficed. But the fact they said or did absolutely nothing makes the candidates just as bad, or maybe even worse, in my eyes. It just annoys me a little to see some site that clearly has an agenda to push claim that Santorum "owes" him an apology. Would it have been nice if he had said something? Yeah, but he wasn't obligated to do so and I'm not surprised he didn't. He's there to get the crowd on his side, not to confront them.
