• Email service reportedly used by Snowden abruptly shuts down
Wait what, USPS can open mail without a warrant???
Uh, yeah, they do it all the time. US Customs routinely opens packages coming into the country to check for banned items. Domestic shipments are often opened if they seem suspicious. No warrant is needed. You agree to all this, by the way, when you use them as your carrier service. Every mail service in the world does this, your country's included. They need a way to check if items banned from mail service are being sent and they sure aren't going to go get a warrant for every single box. Also can anyone link to the evidence showing the NSA reads private emails?
Lets take down google because I can use it to search for leaked info
I think the government has lost track of it's job: To serve the people.
Well it can't be lawful and unlawful. Either the government did something unlawful (okay) or they made it lawful, in which case it can't be unlawful. You said it was both. I'm still wondering which you think it is. (User was permabanned for this post ("Still threadshitting with terrible arguments" - Craptasket))
A permanent ban for an active user of over 6 years simply because you disagree with his opinion? That's absolutely ridiculous. (User was banned for this post ("This isn't the place to discuss bans" - Craptasket))
A permanent ban for an active user of over 6 years simply because you disagree with his opinion? That's absolutely ridiculous.
His entire history is full of threadshitting bans.
Our country is a frog in the boiling pot.
This is what I have been using for the past few months. Just lost all of my shit.
I run this three times a week. (Another good idea is to run synchronisation instead of cloud software: Dropbox/BitTorrent Sync instead of cloud storage, Git/Mercurial/any other DVCS instead of SVN/any CVCS, an offline office package instead of Google Docs/whatever Microsoft's online thing is called, and so on. If any of these things I don't have direct control over abruptly shut down I'll still have at least one copy, more if the data is important. Never trust a single service.) [editline]10th August 2013[/editline]
FUCK i lost all my shit too goddamn
If you use an "offline" mailer like Thunderbird you can extract your mails from the cache. Just make a backup copy of your profile folder before you try anything.
Why is Scout1 getting so many chances. He is obviously not learning. He has been perma'd 3 times already and I think he has had more than enough chances as it is.
Why is Scout1 getting so many chances. He is obviously not learning. He has been perma'd 3 times already and I think he has had more than enough chances as it is.
You've been banned 29 times. Don't you think you've had enough chances too?
You've been banned 29 times. Don't you think you've had enough chances too?
29 times over six years, and not all for the same shit. That's a far better record than scout1.
This is why I no longer respect the nation that used to be the best of all. Disgusting.
I hate to say this, but I never considered it the best nation in the first place.
29 times over six years, and not all for the same shit. That's a far better record than scout1.
Milke was still banned more times, and is telling other people they don't deserve any more chances. I simply think he has no room to talk.
I hate to say this, but I never considered it the best nation in the first place.
I've lived in the United States my entire life, born and raised. I literally have never lived in another country, and have only visited one other country, Mexico, twice on vacation. And I can't help but agree with you. Sure, we may have been or may still be good, but I really don't think we've ever been "the best", save for maybe a few heroic moments of WWII. Although, it is sort of a subjective thing, since every nation has its stupid bullshit in some form. He's been permabanned countless times and let back in for cash, and he's donated tons of money for cosmetic shit. Last I checked, he spent roughly $500 of his parents' money on the server alone, a mix of buying every donor perk imaginable and paying for unbans after getting perma'd. The only reason he wasn't prevented from coming back despite being in a idiot was that he was the resident cash-cow. The whole point of this story is that scout1 seems to be one of those kids that just keeps buying unbans without realizing/caring why they got banned to begin with. Which leads to them getting banned and having to pay again.
