Which means it's certain we will live the exact same life once again. It's like throwing a dice, one day the exact same universe will be created. Since we lose perception of time the moment we die we will instantly be reborn, without the knowledge of our previous lives. I hate to think about it. [editline]value[/editline] But I don't mind because my life is awesome, I got to experience some great shit in the 90's.
I have been rather fortunate with this life, but I want to live a different, maybe a better one. I don't want to live this life for an eternity. :smith:
Maybe we shoud put millions into understanding what is outside of our universe, I think it could prove to be very interesting what we could find.
With all these new discoveries about space, I think pretty soon I'll go insane like in H2G2 when you looked through the telescope and understood the whole universe.
I know this is completely unnecessary, but The Total Perspective Vortex wasn't a telescope.
The machine produces a virtual reality model of the entire universe by means of the axiom that any piece of matter is affected by all other matter. The Vortex reconstructs the universe through computer processing of a high-resolution scan ("extrapolated matter analysis") of a piece of fairy cake
Maybe those past collisions have shaped the current physics of our universe. At the beginning of our universe, the laws of physics could've been much different until another universe smacked ours. [editline]14th December 2010[/editline] Could that be where dark matter came from? Or am I just being naive now?
Because the universe presumably float around in some sort of inter-universal medium and the boundaries of the universes are a similar material or structure so they can interact.
The "outside" of the universe isn't just more space with distances and geometry. It's not like galaxies interacting.
Whats to say there is a infinite amount of energy in a infinite amount of universes? Nothing. Whats to say there is a finite amount of energy in a finite amount of universes? Nothing.
So you're saying there is no energy? Fucking genius, this man deserves a medal that no one can create cause there is no energy. Infinite energy is impossible because it's impossible to have infinite anything, so we are stuck with finite, but if we could "steal" energy from other universes we could create the illusion that our universe has infinite energy. [editline]15th December 2010[/editline]
The "outside" of the universe isn't just more space with distances and geometry. I can only imagine that 2 universes with different laws of physics colliding can't end well. [editline]15th December 2010[/editline]
Infinite energy is impossible because it's impossible to have infinite anything, [...].
What makes you so certain? [editline]15th December 2010[/editline] In fact, take a look at the Mandelbrot set. Looks pretty infinite to me. Also Pi and any other irrational number.
Now we can shoot all the furrie's there
I wonder what the space between the universes would be like. Pitch black, or all white...
I wonder what the space between the universes would be like. Pitch black, or all white...
It would appear to be black, because there is no light to perceive.
Think of the possibilities guys all sorts of universes Pokemon Digimon Halo MAss effect think of the possiblities that family guy multiverse come into mind.
Hah....that sounds like fun. :D I can only wish.
My "never gonna happen" dream is to watch the Andromeda Galaxy crash into ours. That would be the coolest thing to see EVER.
Now this is cool. Really cool.
Right that's it, immortality time.
