Those locks are a real eye sore anyway

IIRC there's a bridge in Germany where its legal for enthusiasts to pick the love locks.
They're doing it for the same reason as this bridge and the locks can be handed in to the city council to be relocated to a dedicated spot.
They should totally do that here. Might actually make a niche "lockpicking tourism" boom.
