His music sounds like someone thrusting their dick into an air siren, IMO.
Yup, has nothing to do with the hundreds of thousands of dollars he has.

did he win them in a raffle or something
obviously he has hundreds of thousands of dollars because hes doing something productive
His music is bad. You have to be intoxicated to think otherwise.
I wouldn't call it bad, I would call it abstract. It's lacking in 'traditional' musical aesthetics, motifs, et cetera and is more like mainlining direct stimulation to your brain. It communicates in tone and atmosphere over language, and change in pattern and frequency over varied choruses.
It's really, really different.
I can listen to music that has been remixed to have elements of dubstep in it (there are actually a few I quite like) but as a lyrical fetishist, much of the dubstep genre leaves me unstimulated. I'm wired for completely different auditory cues, and I often feel a bit lost trying to figure out the plot as someone who grew up on rock concept albums and the like.
Complaining about the music that the younger generations listen to is just a sign of growing up.
Nobody's actually playing this are they
It's a pretty damn fun game, there's no overly loud screeching in the game, the only real "skrillex-y" part is the chorus of bangarang playing during the final boss, the rest is the really chill buildup parts looped as ambient music
fuck skrillex
fuck skrillex
I'm certain you would given the offer.
This thread is now about vaginas

Then why is it that a lot of the people who complain about modern music sucking are part of the younger generation? I agree that top 40 pop tends to be fucking awful, but there's a lot of good material out there too.
If anything acting all indignant about modern music is a sign of wanting to be seen as grown up. I mean I used to hate everything but classic rock, but then I turned 15.
Well uh, the game was interesting I guess. Not exactly a challenge though.
Worst game since that Family Guy multiverse garbage they buried with the ET cartridges.

It used snippets of Skrillex songs throughout the game. Such as the song "Kill EVERYBODY" during the scene where it's kinda in a disco with those blocks that circle around you.
but there's already a skrillex game

if i had hundreds of thousands of dollars while not doing something productive women would want to get with that.
if i just did something productive without having fuck loads of cash those odds would go down dramatically.

right
considering your attitudes about women i doubt there are any odds

What? my attitudes about women? You don't even know well, anything at all really about my personal/sex life (you're incorrect anyways, but all people seem to do on this forum is excuse each other of being virgins lately) . You do realize this is all hypothetical...right?
You're bragging on the internet. Kinda goes against the point your making.
Also, does this really need to be a Zelda knock-off?
Did you actually play the game or did you just look at the title screen and make an assumption?
--
The game is actually really fun. A lot of dark undertones, and some genuinely creepy moments. The bits of Skrillex music in the game are used perfectly for ambiance. It's not a hard game, but it's really interesting.
Also, you [sp]get to kill Skrillex in digital form[/sp]. What's not to love? :v:
Oh stop trying to reason with these people. I am not sure why, but they simply assume just because it is electronic music it is supposed to be easy and "done with a push of a button" and doesn't involve talent. I am sure if you asked them they would say music ended with the 70s or 80s. Not being a fan of certain kind of music and being ignorant seems to be the same thing for them.
Mostly the thing that's wrong with it is that he creates it all piece by piece, which is pretty impressive and all, but on stage he literally does just press play and adds in a few pauses and sounds.
I don't see what this game has do with skrillex besides the soundrtrack, and I can't take it seriously because the only time I've ever heard his music is in frag video parodies.

I don't think anybody cares. Your dick gets moistened and ejaculates more frequently than a certain percentage of the population. Congratulations, we are already bowing in your wake.

You could say the exact same thing about almost any type of dance music though, lyrical content isn't a must. It's about how the music can change your emotions and how you feel at a dance. In a dance, just shut your eyes and let your body do it's own thing. Feeling the bass in your chest, surrounded by people all somehow connected by this music, everyone is on one level.
A good dance with a good crowd can be euphoric even if you're stone sober.

Yeah, I noticed them
The best part was how the songs would match with game events
Mostly the thing that's wrong with it is that he creates it all piece by piece, which is pretty impressive and all, but on stage he literally does just press play and adds in a few pauses and sounds.
Yeah it's silly the way "EDM" guys play out, they almost universally play a mostly premade mix and will have fx or whatever. I try to go to a lot of events and mostly see people play strictly vinyl sets and the skill there aside from the actual mixing is tune selection. A DJ can control an entire a crowd and can change the mood with good song selection and he has to be able to read the crowd, see what sort of vibe they're on. A dj can kill a dance by picking a wrong song.
Fuck light shows, give me a dingy basement and some Funktion ones.
I love a game that oozes polish like this.
I was about to complain about the arrow buttons not working and me not being able to play the game, but the I realized that I was trying to play with the WASD.
Whoopsie.
