Noone wants to ban all the guns.
except for ms. feinstein.
Its about as harmful as a fucking 2x4
I kind of want one now. Just so I can say; "Yeah, that's a AT-4 on my wall, no big deal, the 4 is relative to my penis ;)" Wait, I can't say that. Fuck.
Noone wants to ban all the guns.
Why ban some then? Makes no sense. Just because the look scary? As long as there is a tool on the market that is capable of killing someone, nutcases will use it. Guns don't matter, people will always kill people. Also as long as they make shovels I can make home made ak's. So even if you ban guns I can still secretly make one out of everyday parts gathered from a hardware store.
First and third pics look like the cop's saying "How in tarnation did you get your hands on a rocket launcher?" But certainly, one wouldn't expect to get a rocket launcher at a gun buyback event.
A true "assault weapons ban" with the very ownership of said assault weapon being illegal, would in itself, be illegal. The Supreme Court has defined this over and over and over, as well as defining the term "militia" as this: The “militia” comprised all males physically capable of acting in concert for the common defense Source:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/District_of_Columbia_v._Heller As such, the supreme court has also deemed certain weapons illegal, or able to be under the NFA because they aren't used in a "militia" IE Sawed off shotguns; source:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_v._Miller This source also states that "The Second Amendment protects only the ownership of military-type weapons appropriate for use in an organized militia. An assault weapon is defined as a "military-type weapon" and thus cannot be truly banned.
Never said that it was possible, and another AWB won't even make it to the house this time around.
Yea, its pretty bad. We had a guy who had a spring that was so worn that it wouldn't bring the bolt home all the way anymore. Sad times. Why not abolish speed limits because someone could theoretically go 300km/h in a 100 zone Why not...
Those two "Rocket Launchers"..those were demilled LAW and AT4 tubes, they have holes drilled in them. They are non-reloadable straight tubes and completely legal to possess. Just about ANY Military Surplus store sells them. People use them as movie props or convert them to fire paintballs with compressed air in paintball games.
Oh god an MP40, holy hell, those things cost thousands.
It's an M3 greasegun, not an MP40. Still a valuable WW21/Korean War relic though [editline]30th December 2012[/editline] Wait scratch that, it probably is an MP40. It's amazing that these people will just sell of their grandfathers war relics like that, what a gigantic waste... that thing could literally be in a museum
It's an M3 greasegun, not an MP40. Still a valuable WW21/Korean War relic though
it's an mp40, you can tell by the way the stock is folded

I took a look at the barrel and saw that If that's just a random sample of the stuff that they got from this buyback then they've literally done absolutely nothing to slow down gun crime, because all of these are like rare family heirlooms that nobody has fired in ages.
Are we posting privately owned rocket launchers in this thread?
