I'd expect the company that made angry birds to be worth more than 2 billion
Honestly i'm glad that they did refuse the offer, but in terms of money it was stupid on their part. Rovio has made 1/20th of that 2 billion offer off of the game itself since they've started releasing angry birds if i'm correct. Although good for their games, i don't think that company will be making that much revenue any time soon
2 billion dollars. For a company that made a cute little artillery game. What the fuck.
It sells well for a lot of reasons. It's cheap, plays well on mobile devices, is available to anyone who has those devices, and it's entertaining enough for someone to warrant spending the little money they charge for it, not to mention the merchandise they sell as well. It's not surprising at all once you think about it.
Good on ya, Rovio. Don't give in to these casual mobile gaming assclowns. (Yes I know Angry Birds is casual too but at least its not fucking Farmville)
Go go rovio!
Rovio is going places and Zygna is sinking (I remember something about no more Facebook games). I'm glad they refused this offer, besides - Angry Birds Space was actually new and different.
Who needs 2 billion dollars?
Afghanistan, apparently.
Wonder if Zynga will clone Angry Birds now.
Mad Parrots coming soon
Jeezus Zynga is like the new EA.
Except bigger.
Except bigger.
Zynga should just stay on Facebook games
Rovio are retarded, should have took the money. Angry birds rubbish won't be around for much longer.
I'd most likely sell in a heartbeat. 2 billion is a damn lot. But then again I will most likely never make anything successful so I don't know how it is to own something that sells.
I'd have accepted. Goddamn, 2 billion.
2 freaking billion... Even thought they refused, I think a bubble starting to form...
I can't believe Zynga actually has that kind of capital.
Jeezus Zynga is like the new EA.
Zynga was like that since the very beginning, they are a scummy company that also treats their staff bad.
Zynga, their texas Hold'em Poker application was so bad I uninstalled it as fast as I could. I went back to the other apps everyone else used in my school.
Who needs 2 billion dollars?
Karzai and Afghanistan, apparently. http://facepunch.com/threads/1178082
