I'm actually glad they're doing something new with the series. Too many game movies just butcher their source material and pack it into a 90 minute movie, it would be a shame if they followed that route because AC has so much untapped potential. They actually have the freedom to do a story anywhere, in any period of history so they can be faithful to the games [I]and[/I] expand on them. More game movies should take that approach really.

I do like that it's an original story but if it's being written by the Hitman guy? Please tell me there's no way you can send guns through memories because holy fuck I wouldn't be surprised at this point with the amount of shit he's wrote.

Also if they end up having one of Desmonds lineage cameo in LA somehow, Matt Ryan would be perfect for Edward, since he's voiced and modeled off of him and is a decent actor.
