Same goes for American Eagle, and Aeropostale.
It's those wannabe rich-boy swag stores. Everyone knows the wealthy shop at those stores  That's just so rude of them though. You don't see Japan style stores here in California blowing up their cheeks and pretending to amerifats. 2012 and multi-culturalism and understanding? What's that. They should make an Oppa US Style mockery as retaliation [editline]Hmm[/editline]
...I like American Eagle...
Well, are you have rich boy wannabe swag? Is it still cool to don Chinese sweat shop sweaters?
...I like American Eagle...
It's not like this is a one or the other situation. $35 for a shirt is fucking laughable. You can probably find a $15 shirt with a similar or exact same design, just without their name slapped on it that will last just as long, sometimes longer, from a wide variety of both chain or independent clothes stores. Plus you won't have to actually enter either Hollister or Walmart that way!
Wow, you guys have cheap clothes.
seriously if you're going to spend that much money on clothes at least get a classy brand for fucks sake, i get most of my casual stuff from hugo boss and it's classy and comfortable as fuck. hollister is overpriced, uncomfortable scratchy shit.

Real men only wear shirts they made themselves out of logs they chopped themselves.
I got lost in a Hollister once, had to ask for directions.

Steam gets all of my money
I hate these stores, why in gods name are they pitchblack inside? Are the clothes they make so terrible they have to hide them or something.
Slightly unrelated, but does anyone think the American Eagle logo looks incredibly similar to the Lyle & Scott logo.
Wait hold on
In summary, the company terminated the couple of associates involved.
they didn't terminate their employment, they terminated them? as in, had a hitman get rid of them? wow, hollister don't fuck around
Just go to JC Penny or Belles. They got all sorts of clothes from cheap graphic tees to nice button up shirts. 90% less douche baggy too.
Sure you're paying for the brand, but 35$ for a shirt is ok, Hollister has quality shit when it comes to the fabric and you feel comfy in it. Same goes for Abercrombie (where the shirts' price can literally skyrocket). I only buy something from them every once in a while but never am disappointed. I'd rather have a few few quality shirts and jeans than a shitton of shitty ones.
I'm sorry if i'm bringing this up again but can somebody tell me why they have the lights off in these stores, it's always puzzled me.
Same goes for American Eagle
american eagle is nothing like hollister
It's funny because these douchebags get more pussy than any of you. (Or any male model for that matter unless they're gay) Hence, Hollister works, and so does good looks.
Dunno, it seems quite common that good looking narcissist deuchebags tend to get laid. Still doesn't make them better people.
they knew too much
I like Hollister. Only when their holiday sale is going on. 50% off err thang cant beat that.
I never had bad experiences at Hollister. I don't shop there much, because I don't like buying new clothes on a regular basis. I bought some T-shirts, swim trunks and shorts, and the shirts were incredible soft and comfortable, and the shorts fit well. The trunks were (In my opinion, you guys need to learn what that is) stylish, and also comfortable. The prices were actually really reasonable for what I bought, many of them on sale as well. The employees were helpful and friendly, and the store had a very youthful vibe, which I'm not opposed to, because if you guys don't shop there because (as one person mentioned) the music was bad, then you really need to stop shedding so many tears. Also, learn what opinions are, you don't like their clothes, quit pretending that them being bad is some kind of definitive fact, and not just your own opinion.
[citation needed]
This just in: attractive people tend to have more sex than un attractive people More shit everyone knew at 10.
It's those wannabe rich-boy swag stores. Everyone knows the wealthy shop at those stores  Well, are you have rich boy wannabe swag? It is expensive, but Its worth is in my opinion.
Their clothes for women are actually very nice but they make guys look like cunts.
Why would you wear that garbage anyways? Looks like typical frat boy wear.
I did meet Gary Barlow in a Hollister once, let me just get the photo.
I got lost in a Hollister once, had to ask for directions.
i went 2 town onse and i fort i wood give hollyster a crack and as soon as i entered the shop i haded an black out but then i turn around and it was okay because we r al human bengs and r deservd to not shop in nightdarkness
$35 for a decent shirt is an ok price I reckon. No, what pisses me off is when you see plain white t-shirts with a brand name on them and other stupid shit like this for $100 and up.
If it is really that nice a shirt, then yeah I can understand the $35 price tag a bit more. But the kind of shirt you just mentioned really do annoy me for some reason :v: I admit I paid about £30 for a shirt a few weeks ago, but it was my first real clothes shop for just over a year I'd say. [editline]11th September 2012[/editline]
what the hell, decent shirts like that cost $60+ here [editline]11th September 2012[/editline] a normal t shirt is like 35 - 40, we're getting ripped off
I guess it entirely depends on what you are buying the shirt for. I also keep forgetting about exchange rates I don't know exactly what $35 will get you, so I'm kinda approximating what it would be over here in the UK. For day to day shirts I wouldn't exactly spend more than £20 unless it was something I really liked the look of. For decent, going out clothes? Yeah slightly higher prices are a bit more justifiable to me. But I'm just really tight with money anyway, you'd be lucky to get my to do big clothes shops more than once a year.
...I like American Eagle...
The only thing I buy from AE still is their jeans because they're always running a promotion and they fit well. And don't have the logo plastered everywhere.
I'm sorry if i'm bringing this up again but can somebody tell me why they have the lights dimmed in these stores, it's always puzzled me.
they probably wanna create a certain atmosphere and mood in the store i would guess.
