You know, North Korea probably has something worse in place.
North Korea doesn't have a very good government.
North Korea doesn't have a very good government.
Not the point.
No government should be allowed to do this.
Eh, it sounds more like a preventative measure to me, but hardcore pedophilia will probably get you locked up for life.
Kissing is a sexual crime/act?
Yes.
By this logic we should cut off murderer's limbs depending on which one they used to kill the guy.
Yes.
Over here in California, if you get out of your car to pee, even if you go in a bush or somewhere no one can see you, if a cop catches you, you have to register as a sex offender.
So what's the go on female castration? :smug:
Eh, it sounds more like a preventative measure to me, but hardcore pedophilia will probably get you locked up for life.
A preventative measure that assumes the government is infallible when finding pedophiles. I hope the first innocent guy that gets castrated sues the Polish government into oblivion.
If it's done the way Shill says, then I have no problem with this. I'm just pissed off about what the Polish Prime Minister said.

It's reversible?
It's reversible?
Still not within the government's rights.

That sounds stupid.
Still not within the government's rights.
I dunno', I'm kinda' on the fence about this one, if your sexual urges are severe enough that you need this you'd probably be in a mental ward.
So what's the go on female castration? :smug:
The same thing.
Tusk said he did not believe "one can use the term 'human' for such individuals, such creatures."
"Therefore I don't think protection of human rights should refer to these kind of events," Tusk also said.
Hurp durp someone is sick that means we don't call them human to avoid them getting human rights :downs:
Obama needs to stop increasing our national debt trying to fix our health care (even though it's crap, it works) and start worrying about more important things.
like cutting peoples balls off
That sounds stupid.
Oh it is. There was a law that you couldn't stop a child from playing in puddles. It only lasted a few weeks, but still.
like cutting peoples balls off
No, I think getting relations with Poland open would be cool so we can share our no "cruel and unusual punishment" with them. Also, we can share our definition of a human, because, you know, it's not ACTUALLY written in stone anywhere what a human is. Therefore human rights are subjective!
it's not ACTUALLY written in stone anywhere what a human is. Therefore human rights are subjective!
The US constitution isn't written in stone either
The US constitution isn't written in stone either
Castration does and will fall under "cruel and unusual" for a long time, impossible to know forever, but a human can be biologically defined.
So if someone raped a child, was proven guilty and is released from prison and rapes another child, you guys think we should put him back through the system that failed to rehabilitate him in the first place?
This, while extreme, isn't a bad thing. If this saves even one child from being raped it's a good thing. This isn't permanent so if someone is wrongfully accused and manages to prove their innocence he can be taken off the medicine.
Too bad they don't physically castrate them.

Castrating isn't proven to make the rapist less likely to rape again. The worst thing about this is that the prime minister says that pedophiles aren't humans and aren't protected by human rights. Sooner or later, they'll have pedophiles work as slaves because it's not violating any human rights.

There's more then just one person, the prime minister, in the government you know. They aren't going to be using pedophiles as cannon fodder because the prime minister stated his opinion.

It's not like the whole country is opposed to him, this act seems like they don't think much of rights for convicted pedophiles, although I don't know much about human rights. They don't castrate people who just do normal rape, and that's also repeatable.
This seems like it can turn into mandatory treatments such as in A Clockwork Orange.

What, with chemical castration you're saying they don't think much of pedophiles' rights? That's ridiculous. What about protecting childrens' rights?
It's a bit much to say to they're going to jump from chemical castration to slavery, don't you think?

Children's rights aren't unprotected because pedophiles are able to have sex. If a man/woman rapes a child, but later wants to have children, he can't because of this. That seems like a pretty big right taken away.
I'm not saying that it will jump to slavery, but plenty is able to happen once you can label someone not human anymore. Mandatory treatments like this aren't very humane.

Where's it say he can't have children? All i see is that it lowers their sex drive
That's fucked, I don't care what the guy did, you never castrate somebody.
