If stuff goes south for them, I presume.
Guys, guys, you only have a little bit of the information, there's like thousands of new things to come.
Here's some interesting facts http://www.boingboing.net/2010/11/28/cables-teased-in-nyt.html

I think it's come to the point where Assange either has to be in jail or is dead.
Claims of inappropriate behaviour by a member of the British royal family.
Because it's the first time ever a royals been inappropriate.
I think it's come to the point where Assange either has to be in jail or is dead.
I expect him to be found having "commit suicide" in the near future. He's pissing off too many people.
Oh, so that is not all the leak?
I was going to say the released info is disappointing.
That is what the Guardian appear to be saying
"The articles published today and over coming weeks are drawn from US state department cables which were sent earlier this year to WikiLeaks"

Great, so we have to wait even longer.
JUST RELEASE THE GOOD STUFF ALREADY!
The material includes a reference to Vladimir Putin as an "alpha-dog", Hamid Karzai as being "driven by paranoia" and Angela Merkel allegedly "avoids risk and is rarely creative".
I fucking lold
Not really surprised by anything so far. I don't see the justification in leaking any of these documents other than simple anti-americanism. ( So far ) With the Iraq and Afghanastan leaks you could argue that they were trying to bring to light civilian deaths, how the war was really being fought etc.. but here it really just seems they are trying to damage the US internationally.

The US damaged itself internationally and covered it up.
These are not all. The interesting ones are deep and buried so you'll have to find them manually until a brave media organization points them out

It feels like that's what people expect. Too much.
But seriously, once these documents are well dug into, we might find better stuff.

I doubt it, these have been well researched before they release the articles / etc.
Although it's possible they are holding back something big to keep shit from not hitting the fan
There's never going to be any world changing leak about aliens, because aliens haven't visited us and it's impossibly unlikely that they will in the forseeable future, in fact it's pretty unlikely that intelligent extraterrestials exist, let alone have made contact.
she controls britan!!
Not really, she's more of a symbol than a ruler.

Space is pretty goddamn big place, why there wouldn't be a place like earth?

Agreed, I don't see the point either.
If you don't want something wrong you did to get out then DON'T FUCKING DO IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

They are just doing what they do, releasing leaked documents they are handed which they can verify. Who ever wants to damage the US is the person leaking the documents, not Wikileaks or the media.
Someone appears to be trying to DDOS wikileaks

But she has all the powers, she can if she wants turn around and deny any law being made.
Their site is under a DDoS attack, so now no one can even get the files. I'd assume they already sent major media outlets paper copies of all the files, but I was looking forward to looking through them all. :sigh:
The site is up but no release yet it seems.
Also the BBC have started to list the major issues.

"North Korea's Kim Jong-il is a "flabby old chap" suffering from trauma from a stroke, "
"US embassy cables leak sparks..."
Get new ones then.

So telling your coworkers what you think of certain leaders is wrong? (I do know that the leak contained other information but I'm using this as an example)
I'll be waiting for what else is released.

That's going to go over well considering the past week's events.
