We have some sort of conifer tree that looked like a penis for a while cause the deer would eat what they could reach.
But then we got a dog, so we don't see them around the house much anymore. Me and my dad would be totally willing to thin the heard, but since we live on city (and possibly federal) property, we can't do jack shit.
However, we do get free reign over the hobos.

Its controlled to keep stable population.
Also help prevent collision between a car and the beast.
Man killing a rare animal is so cool
kids probably think it's monster hunter in real life, kill that rare beast, craft your shiny white leather boots and show it off...
I wish I shot a fucking albino deer when I was just 11 years old with a crossbow. He must be really proud right now and rightfully so. I can only imagine the excitement his dad had
When I was a kid in Cub Scouts, they taught us archery and how to use BB guns. As long as you really hammer in safety, it's not that big a deal.
Pretty much this
gun safety for someone who is being taught in a way where they could end up using one is extremely logical. why WOULDN'T you teach them that?
11 years old is a perfectly sane age to teach gun/bow/knife safety.
Better young and taught discipline, that way they learn controlling themselves in general at a younger age.

May be just me but in a country where firearms are available for pretty much everyone, teaching gun safety to kids should be just as important teaching them how to read, write and count.
Hell it should remain important even in countries where guns aren't that easy to obtain. There's literally no gun safety classes in France whatsoever even though it's totally possible for anyone to get a permit and a hunting license complete with a rifle to carry along. That shit's dangerous and needs to be explained better.
this is my cousins son
this is my cousins son
Neat.
human like thing
human kill thing
give us the boy
Amusingly enough, the main cause of certain species being overpopulated is because humans hunted their predators to near-extinction in the first place. Funny how these things work.
Also that kid's face is extremely punchable
hunting culture is unhealthy and disgusting
Hunting culture is the reason why no matter where you live there aren't boars chewing on your shit and crossing roads causing damage and ruckus.
They feel the sensation of something touching them, but they do not experience "pain" as we know it. Regardless, it is a bit beside the point at this time. Sorry I let assumptions about my stray the topic of the thread :)
Pain is just a survival mechanism at its core anyway. Why decide to kill based on that criteria? Seems rather arbitrary.
Well too bad, but on the upside albinism is a defect and he contributed to cleaning the gene pool

Tell that to the next burger you eat.
What a horrible little cunt.
just curious, did you go through the thread?
for a start a ton of kids who've been in the Cub and Boy Scouts get taught archery and the handling of BB guns. So it isn't unlikely that this kid might have the proper know-how to handle such weapons.
There are overpopulation issues with deer. You might see a bunch of them having starved in winter because there wasn't enough to eat. There's nothing wrong with hunting a few of them no matter their coloring because there's simply enough and to spare in terms of deer.
Deer also tend to just eat everything in sight and make a nuisance of themselves by reproducing a fair bit too.
Unless he maliciously went through with the killing and did silly things like hacking up the carcass and leaving it to rot, I wouldn't really call the kid a horrible cunt. Besides there's plenty more deer where this one came from, even if it was an albino. It's simply natural order being established by human beings given that we're kind of short on predators to keep down the number of deer in a natural way.
What many people don't realize is the fact that many hunters spend a lot of money on gaining hunting permissions, hiring guides and shelters, and also paying for what they shoot. In many of the poorer places of the world, if there wasn't any money from tourists hunting non endangered species, many of the wild areas could end up being converted to farmland, since the locals need a way of living.
Most of the hunters and fishers I know are biologists or something similar, and they have dedicated their lives to protecting the environment. As long as you hunt and fish non endangered species in a responsible manner, no harm is done to the environment. In many cases, the deaths that the animals recieve (bullet to the heart, blow to the head) are much less painful than the way their lives would have ended in the wild (disease/starvation/eaten alive by predators)
They do a lot more to protect the environment than many of the vegans and vegetarians I have met, who basically just mainly talk about it and refuse to eat meat.
I do agree that eating copious amounts of meat is unnecessary, but some meat has been part of the human food pyramid for thousands of years, so you really are lacking something in your diet if you refuse to eat meat completely.
Because it was shot as a trophy?
Tell that to the next burger you eat.
Doesn't that come for cattle?
I don't think people go out hunting to make burgers, at least nowadays it's not as used for it.

The primary problem in not eating meat completely means it'll be harder for your body to get certain essentials - this is more visible in those following veganism though - such as Vitamin B12. It isn't possible to acquire much B12 from plant sources either because there are similar molecules usually present in plant sources that compete with the binding proteins in the body responsible for absorption of B12. If you still insist on following a purely vegan diet though at least remember to supplement vitamin B12 to maintain good health.
Hah, holy shit, what's up with all these "respect all life" and "asshold killed a rare albino deer" comments?
It was an albino DEER. An ordinary deer, except it got handed a short card by genetics and was born albino. It wasn't some sort of Grand Majestic Albino Deer of Wizardry and Peace. It was just a deer. Like any other deer. The only thing that set it apart from the rest of the hordes was it's unusual color (or lack thereof). And considering the nuisance deers pose in general, it was only a matter of time until someone else hunted it, or nature ran it's course it and just got killed for lacking any sort of camouflage.
I'd understand if we were talking of a species of deer, specifically in grave danger of facing extinction, but this deer was not that gravely endangered deer. Capiche?

What a horrible little cunt.
Were you planning on fucking that deer or what
Seriously it's just one deer, I find it even funnier that you morons care just because it's prettier than the rest.
Look at the little fucker's face. Hope you get seriously injured in some hunting accident.
Edit: What? Why should the life of an innocent animal be less important then the one of a stupid hunter who smiles after killing a living creature?
Look at the little fucker's face. Hope you get seriously injured in some hunting accident.
Hunters are such barbarians guys.
This reminds me of a video of a man hunting rabbits with an air rifle. Despite the fact that rabbits are massive fucking pests, the comments still went wild, threatening the guy etc.
Also am I right in saying as long as there is deer, there will eventually be more albino deer?

doesn't matter what it looks like, I just think shooting a living creature and posing for a grinning photo over the body is a pretty horrible thing to do. wow u shot a deer, great fuckin work son.

Honestly unless albino deers start shitting diamonds I couldn't care less about them. It's a mutation that happens with literally every species on earth, and deers are so damn common that it doesn't even matter.

Would you say the same if it were, say, a fisherman posing with his catch? It's natural for people to want to record the stuff they did, it isn't like he went John Rambo on a whole herd of deer or something.
yep
Some people on this thread have watched Bambi one too many time.
