They only found this after they suspected child neglect because of the poopy pants and they searched the house.
I'm saying that just poopy pants alone isn't enough to suspect neglect.
Are you seriously defending the notion that a 7 year old who walked around in her diarrhea and changes her own diapers (still wears them for that matter) is not neglected?
If anything you are either apathetic towards life in general (in which start taking antidepressants), or just a 12 year old.
Hey guys, surprisingly enough, if your child is changing her own diapers, it makes you an infinitely better parent.
Not when they're 7 for fuck's sake.

You don't realise that a kid isn't meant to be wearing diapers at age 7.
If it was like age 3, then I'd be impressed.

I had the same thought
I don't see how a 7-year old changing their diaper is a problem either actually, seems like the kid has learnt self sufficiency which a fine skill to have at that age where most children whine to their parents for sweets this one would probably go down the shops and buy it herself and only have to whine for money from parents or learn to steal it - another useful skill.

The parent should be there to do it for the child.

It's not that uncommon, love how facepunch try's to act like they know everything about child raising, many of them still wear diapers.
Just because you shouldn't doesn't mean its bad, I wish I could still shit and pee my pants and just clean it up by taking them off and replacing them - think about all the time you waste of your life whilst in a bathroom.

You're time is so important you cant possibly waste 30 seconds taking a piss, or a few minutes taking a dump.
I use the toilet roughly 3-6 times a day so that's roughly 4 minutes every day and there are 365 days in a year so that's 1460 minutes of my life I waste each year being in a bathroom. Not counting diarhea or constipation etc.
You're going to be wasting more time changing diapers and wiping your ass than going to the toilet like a normal person.
Parents who can't raise a child proper simply should not be allowed to have a child. All these child "abuse" stories disgusts me

I don't understand what you're trying to say. First of all, this isn't a case of "poopy pants". Yes, I think we all understand that a 7 year old might poop his pants once in a while. But this is not even the case. The kid did not know how to use a toilet. She was not potty trained. Then, you try to justify or defend the parents decision by claiming the search was illegal. What are you even trying to accomplish? Were you not ever potty trained? Do you think this is normal?
One more reason why parenting licenses are around the corner.
Dammit, why does this have to happen in my area!?
If the kid realizes she needs to change her diaper why doesn't she just use the shitter?
