Why are they celebrating a captured tank, they can't drive it.

Name one instance where the UN actually did anything aside from lay out useless sanctions or write angry letters.
The invasion of Kuwait.
Although my limited understanding of it leads me to believe they did not much more than authorize the counter attack.

What's so hard, just press "E" to enter, and hold down the huge pedal that says "W" when inside. I think there's a mouse inside to control the barrel, and to fire just press mouse button 1.
I may be wrong but I think the BBC isn't allowed in some eastern countries. I remember hearing about this on a Top Gear episode. I'm not sure if Libya counts as well though.
Goddamn automerge.
It would not surprise me if they are banned from Libya, a lot of foreign media is.

The world would be a better place if this was true.
Did you guy's see him drive away in the golf cart after his speech?
How the fuck did protesters get their hands on a fucking tank?
Libya's army is incredibly disorganized. (because Gaddafi is too paranoid of them turning against him) Apparently numerous military vehicles have been stolen already.

I think that it's more noticable that the house he was recording it in seems to be blown up/shot up/partially destroyed.

And it can't drive over them anymore.

Yeah man, he looked like he was having a pretty chill day, besides causing an uprising in his own country.

It's more than just the BBC. Foreign press of any kind can't get in to Libya. That's why there's so much less coverage than Egypt.

Viva revolucion!
It's like another Cuba except Libya is not a communist.
The protestor are in the right to kick that dictator out.

It seems every public announcement from a leader during all of these uprisings have been like that. Are these leaders really that out of touch with their own country.

It was some building that Reagan bombed back in 1987 I believe.

Al Jazeera keeps surprising me, they really are a great source of info on the middle east. It also shows news from a different (non Western I guess) perspective sometimes which is interesting.

They actually have free press which is amazing.
Also what's up with him being all bronze-ish in the video?
N
As much as I think these people need help, getting involved militarily in another insurgency situation and tarnishing our national image isn't what we need at the moment.
I don't know about you, but the way the U.S. spreads around nations with their military shit, it only proves they are strong and still willing to take responsibility.. you know?
Eventually we all gotta go with the winner, and the U.S. seems like one to me, despite all the republican foolishness in there. Hopefully it'll all forge into a better new world.

It's to evacuate UK citizens.

They can't possibly send a normal ship seeing the libyan army is now attacking everything it sees
:10bux: says they will try to attack the ship anyway

Its what the UK does with its warships these days. An aircraft carrier was sent to Spain last year to help people stuck due to the volcanic ash.
How do you think Gadafi will react when he sees a powerful warship from one of the most western countries in the world dock in his harbors
If he bombs civilians thinking they are terrorists he won't think twice about attacking a "capitalist oil-grabbing troop transport soldier-targeting death-bringing" warship either
He is just that insane right now

That's what I was wondering.

If he does actually have that ship attacked (which I highly doubt he will), he will be in unbelievably huge shit.

I am pretty sure that if that happened article 5 of the NATO treaty would come into effect.
Things would be solved pretty swiftly after that.
