I laughed so hard. You know the Republicans are gonna go batshit insane over this.

Netanyahu looks like a used car salesman
[editline]8th November 2011[/editline]
All the Israelis pretty much agree he's a liar as well, there are so many jokes about that.
Here's one I like the most-
3 travelers go on a hiking trip in the forest. Suddenly, a storm starts brewing. Seeking shelter, the travelers go inside a cave, and as they go deeper into it, they start to notice a strange glow from the back of the cave. They go to investigate, and find a massive, infinitely long room with clocks all over the walls and a single chair with an old man sitting on it.
One of the travelers asks the old man: "Hey, what the hell is this place anyway?"
The old man says: "This is the chamber of lies, and I am its guardian. Every single clock in this room represents the amount of lies every person on this planet tells, and every time a person tells a lie- The clock with his name on it ticks. Over here next to me are my most prized clocks- Clocks that belong to the most honest of people, some of them haven't ticked even once."
"Really? And where is Netanyahu's clock?"
"Oh, I use it as my fan."
I've seen the exact same joke before except instead of Netanyahu it was just a lawyer.

And if all the Israelis think he's so terrible, why is he elected in the first place?
Ha, good! I really wish politicians would just be more honest, and do this stuff in the open. So much more could be achieved.
Well, it's not like we had a good world image anyway.
Still pretty funny though.
I think it's hilarious how 2 presidents chat up with each others to say how annoyed they are by an israelian premier :v:

Best news all month, every month.
Hope it causes an immense amount of butthurt on all three politicians so we can see some of their actual character bleed through the facade of politics.

History is full of dumbasses being elected president/prime minister.

Heh, George Bush.

Considering how many people out there dislike the man anyways, this might raise our world image a tad
This better not end up costing Obama the election, we all know how the GOP is going to want to spin this one
That's the thing, this statement makes the pro-Palestine group seem sincere about Israel bullying them (remember: the American public tends to believe everything Israel says, and believes that the Palestinians are sadistic terrorists who use their babies as shields and celebrated during 9/11).
This means Fox News will spin it as the mics were left on on purpose to make all the accusations towards Netanyahu objectively true (as opposed to the whole "some believe" like how some believe Clinton was involved with his witness against him dying).
Way to go Barack.
So is anyone else considering that he did this on purpose,
I recall seeing some articles recently regarding sabre rattling between Iran and Israel with Israel being rumoured to start attacking Iran but only if it had the U.S support,
So perhaps this was a calculated political move intended to send a public message to Israel that America is not their unconditional supporter.
My English professor's response to this, after reading it to him in class this morning: "Obama is such a moron!"
He then went on a five minute diatribe about Obama's performance as president, from his skill at public speaking to his foreign policy stances. It was immensely uncomfortable. I just wanted to share a funny story with him, not probe his opinion about things that have nothing to do with compositional writing.
But aren't professors immensely liberal?
But aren't professors immensely liberal?
You can still be liberal and dislike him.
But aren't professors immensely liberal?
The majority, but not all.
There are obviously exceptions...
Plus you can be liberal and dislike a liberal.
If I were you I'd get a pen and get ready to start marking down how many times the word "anti-semite" is used.
Make it into a drinking game, everytime a Faux News pundit or Republican candidate uses the word, take a drink.
On second thought, don't. You'll be dead of alcohol poisoning by the commercial break.

No, that's just a stereotype.
If you're not familiar with stereotypes, go ahead and read this thread, or any other thread containing political news. Pretty much any thread relating to politics is great for becoming acquainted with stereotypes. Stereotypes make up the backbone of almost every political "debate" I've ever seen conducted on an internet forum.

However, it is true that professors tend to identify as liberal more often than conservative.

I like how you explained that without stereotyping online political debates.

As of yet, all but one of my professors have been liberals or progressives.
But then again I attend one of the most LGBTQ-friendly universities in my state.

I wonder what motivations I might have had to blatantly stereotype a political topic in a post highlighting the alarming frequency of stereotyping political topics.
[sub](None, it was just my prejudices slipping through in an ironic way)[/sub]
