He thinks that grenade of camp:extreme airstrike edition 2 is a social media? Oh kotick you so crazy. Only hate messages that explaining how gay you are and how gangstah the sender is.
angsty 12 yo
You're a pretentious dick who believes his opinion is higher than all others. You hate many simply because they enjoy something you do not. You insult people simply for going against you, you're the only introvert here.
Name-calling is super cool to do huh
It's unhealthy and you should get out more.
Believing your opinion is superior to others also ends up being unhealthy
Name-calling is super cool to do huh
yeah it is
Yeah, best not for him to admit he's a frail, shy introvert like you have

Name-calling is super cool to do huh
:byodood: the irony it stingsss
Yeah it's not like precedents mean anything in modern diction
Even by a colloquial definition it's a luxury product:
It's a $60 war game designed to be played on a $300 entertainment system which requires a $500+ high-definition television set to display it properly. It's a luxury product.
I know you're probably going to say "oh but I was talking about the PC version!" in which case it's a $60 war game which requires a $2000 computer system to play. This is my point right here. You are suffering from such a stupendous lack of perspective that you "pity" people who don't like the same products as you, and can't imagine how expensive video games could possibly be considered a luxury item. Before ranting about how Kotick is ruining games or whatever, just try to realize how good you have it. Because you have it pretty damn good.
Believing your opinion is superior to others also ends up being unhealthy
Explain to me how
It's unhealthy and you should get out more.
i never claimed to be healthy nor am i interested in having this thread be about me in all likely hood, you are either a troll or someone so devoid of attention he must make the thread about him at all times it's like you're my long lost son, what's your mother's name and age
and them dumb ratings...everywhere [editline]29th December 2010[/editline]
Explain to me how
Good luck having any friends if you argue with everything they believe especially a girlfriend, god help you
I know you're probably going to say "oh but I was talking about the PC version!" in which case it's a $60 war game which requires a $2000 computer system to play.
well the game is really that unoptimized

By the way, that last point is incredibly stupid and a tired point. Not complaining because other people have it worse than you would leave things to degrade to that level.
$2000 dollar machine for MW2 is incredible overkill. You could run MW2 on a $350 system.
Can you find me a $350 system that meets MW2's recommended specs?
Can you find me a $350 system that meets MW2's recommended specs?
or black ops for that matter
or black ops for that matter
or anything made after 2007 for that matter
I love how this thread got derailed in a heartbeat cause thisispain doesn't have enough attention to support his massive ego.
I love how this thread got derailed in a heartbeat cause thisispain doesn't have enough attention to support his massive ego.
please explain how
I love how this thread got derailed in a heartbeat cause thisispain doesn't have enough attention to support his massive ego.
yeah, how?
Can you find me a $350 system that meets MW2's recommended specs?
Not off the top of my head, and that depends on if you have a monitor and etc. Even including monitor costs, however, it would not even come close to totalling $2000.
Speaking to CNN earlier this week, Activision's CEO noted that more people play Black Ops, daily, than watch the late night hosts Leno, Letterman and Fallon, combined. No offense, but that would seem to be an easy goal to beat. No, network television isn't the yardstick Bobby Kotick uses to measure Call of Duty as a social phenomenon. He likens the shooter to Facebook and text messaging, in terms of cultural relevance. "The audience of 'Call of Duty' is probably greater in terms of size than in any other interactive form of entertainment," Kotick told CNN. "If you look at the 500 million people who are on Facebook and the way that people text each other and instant message and use video chat, there is now an evolution of media. Those are the characteristics and attributes that a generation and audiences feel are very important to their media and entertainment experiences." CNN said Kotick believes the Call of Duty franchise delivers on that trend through its online multiplayer, which currently drives a majority of the Xbox Live traffic. Kotick couldn't do the interview without getting in a shot at Infinity Ward which, though its founders were fired and are now embroiled in a lawsuit against Activision, is a studio the publisher still owns. "Multiplayer has been largely developed by Treyarch," Kotick asserted. "I don't think Treyarch got their due for how much they contributed in the production and polish to the multiplayer."
FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-! I just want to hang this guy by his balls and smash his face with a hammer. Everything he says is just plain ignorant bullshit and he needs to go die in a fire.
that depends on if you have a monitor and etc.
don't need that to play cod [editline]29th December 2010[/editline]
FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-!
Can you find me a $350 system that meets MW2's recommended specs?
Probably closer to $500-$600. [editline]29th December 2010[/editline]
Remember back in 2003 when Call of Duty was actually good? :v: Back before Kotick took away it's innocence
Kodick is fucking shit up left and right, it won't be long before he rapes another franchise.
I just want to hang this guy by his balls and smash his face with a hammer. Everything he says is just plain ignorant bullshit and he needs to go die in a fire.
You know, if there was a word I needed to describe the top exec of one of the most successful publishers in the industry, I don't think "ignorant" would be it. Pretty sure Kotick knows more about the business than you or I do, come to that.

Video games is one of them, he's just lucky he has a big established brand name to make him money, other than that he has no idea what he's talking about 95% of the time.
Kotick is business genius. His spendings to profit ratio are fucking huge. Spend minimal time making cod, earn millions. If these games were really as bad as you say, no one would buy them and Kotick wouldn't be swimming in money.
The latest generation of kids buying and playing Call of Duty (Which make up the majority of the community there) have never played anything other than Call of Duty. With some exceptions, most kids have never heard of or played what we'd call a "real game" before.
so what? they have fun so what's the problem

Instead of developers working long and hard on a new game they just use the same engine and reuse assets. He's a genius in the most asshole way possible. It's only a matter of time until Treyarch actually has to come up with a new idea, but for now they will just milk BOps for all it's worth in DLC and map packs.

He's taking advantage of the fact the consumer is willing to shell out their money for all of it.
