• Crew-member crushed to death on set of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

are you fucking kidding me? If its using the same sound stage as before its a couple blocks from where I live, This series has a shitty fucking stunt coordinator as the last movie had Mila almost killed as they tried to move aa moving skiff with people on it and holy shit it fell. Para couldn't figure out who was hurt or not cause of the makeup. If this is at the same soundstage that would explain the horrid amount of paramedics at it round the 3rd or something.
non-union crew, not paying enough attention, not putting the right control measures in and all in a bid to just cut costs, it's fucking disgraceful.
I'm pretty surprised that it was more unsafe than Hong Kong cinema.
Though sad that the crew-member died on the set, But fuck it has to suck to die while filming a shitty movie.
This is a shitty argument, it sucks to die during any movie being filmed. The whole point of the series being shitty or not really doesn't have much to do with this injury + death. The person who died and the maimed stuntwoman were doing what they loved in the industry they worked in - they were being paid and they don't care if it's a shit series or not. The people to blame here are the first assistant director and the safety coordinators for not doing their job. The quality of the series has nothing to do here. You have to remember that there are a ton of people who love the series.
You know it's bad when a game storyline as cheesy as Resident Evil`s is still less laughable than its movie counterpart. Alice is the definition of a Mary Sue character. No other movie character in existence is worse than she is.
The worst part about her Mary Sueism is sometimes Mary Sues are at least somewhat competently writen, like Kirk or Superman.
Either way they've wrapped filming so all the drama is done by now. fucking merge
Wesker was behind this I bet.
Sorry to disappoint, but even I wouldn't associate with a monstrosity of this caliber. After all, evil has standards too.
At this rate I'd order production be completely halted never to be worked on again.
At this rate I'd order production be completely halted never to be worked on again.
we gotta find out what happened at the wesker white house tho (this actually happens)
Though sad that the crew-member died on the set, But fuck it has to suck to die while filming a shitty movie.
maybe it's good but the movies made no sense after resident evil 2.
Either way they've wrapped filming so all the drama is done by now. fucking merge
Knowing this movie, during post-production while working on special effects, one of the artists computer will probably explode :v:
dude, just making a joke on dying during filming of a shitty movie...
It's not much of a joking matter.
That's awful. I hope the widow will be okay.
It's not much of a joking matter.
Comedy = tragedy + time, after all. C = T + t
imagine how fucking gloomy the set is right now (if they already didnt finish filming)
At this rate I'd order production be completely halted never to be worked on again.
Actually, no, not just that. Someone should get locked up for manslaughter.
Actually, no, not just that. Someone should get locked up for manslaughter.
This, but not killing the production. Do you people even realize how many people work on these films. You want to put them out on their ass just because a higher-up shithead is being negligent?
Pressed the wrong button on the QTE

Not that it makes his death any less tragic, but I think it's a pretty weird thing to say that people who love producing movies love it so much they don't care about whether people appreciate their work as a good movie or as a piece of shit production.
looks like it was their final chapter...

You don't get to pick and choose films to work on if you're in the film industry as a regular joe like a stuntman or lower-rung of a film crew. You do it because it's paid work available. And there's no telling whether a film is going to be good or not in production in most cases, unless there's severe production mishaps (which so far this film has had a few)
even shitty actors playing in shitty role in shitty movies do it because they have fun, it's not always because they just have to that's the whole reason people act or do stunts generally really. I doubt 99% of the people working for that film care that it'll be awful. It's probably most likely that they just want to have fun.
wow even if the movie turns out good in the end knowing that some dude got killed and a woman's life is turned up side down in the process of making it who's gonna even watch it
what why can't they just fucking tell the woman what happened it's her god damned husband sounds sketch as fuck
what why can't they just fucking tell the woman what happened it's her god damned husband sounds sketch as fuck
this. Film accidents happen (though arguably how badly is your safety when someone standing under a hazardous object is just a-okay) but what sets your team apart from the others is how the response is. Both privately to the families, and publicly as an explanation. If it's anything to go off of from both the wife's reaction and nothing being heard other than first-hand reports: It seems that the leaders behind this movie have taken this man's death as nothing more than a terrible inconvenience for themselves. They are most likely not saying a word or even apologizing to hide away as much attention from this as possible. This being the 2nd major accident on set they've clearly cut corners in safety budget and it reflects the quality of the films as nothing more than cash investments. The man in question had previously been unemployed for a year. Hell he might have taken the employment desperately knowing that stuff might not have been in ideal conditions. That's the notion I'm getting here. The only people that would support this trash who don't even say sorry to the wife of a man they killed are those that are too desperate not to.
if that's true that disgusting and them self have become evil,.?!
it's most likely there adding over the top action scenes that where never in the fucking video game.
eh have you played any of the games post RE3?
