I don't get why people are "so fucking grrr this is bad!!!!" about it
Mostly cause it read as if these rules applied to the finished retail product. Least it did for me.
Because if it becomes a thing with consumer products then it'll be a really intrusive and nasty thing
No it won't because it is already protected both in the U.S. and around the world. In the U.S. this was reaffirmed just a couple of weeks ago and the EU and other parts of the world have reaffirmed it repeatedly.
Well yeah, reselling a test product would be like asking to take a car from the dealership for a test spin and immediately selling it to some guy on Craigslist as soon as you get it out of the lot.

The Google Glasses aren't given for you as a free test, you pay for an experimental version, you own it but you have limitations on giving it to other people because it's experimental and NDA...
For fucking sakes, change the god damn title.
I'm guessing this is so that they can actually get some results back. The people who buy them second hand probably won't be returning any data and lending to somebody who hasn't signed an NDA is how unintentional leaks happen.
$1,500
fuck off, I thought this was gonna be less than $500 It doesn't really sound like it's worth $1500, it apparently needs a smartphone and a belt-mounted battery pack to work. edit: apparently it's a beta device or something.
Maybe. Our steam accounts and all games associated with it could be disabled, no possibility of refund. That's just one relatable example [editline]17th April 2013[/editline] Google didn't comment on whether it'll apply to the finished product. It could be taken either way right now

The company’s terms of service on the limited-edition wearable computer specifically states, “you may not resell, loan, transfer, or give your device to any other person.

The company’s terms of service on the limited-edition wearable computer specifically states

limited-edition
Does it at least allow them to let a friend try it out for a few minutes, obviously not for a long time?
