OH GOD.
A block of irony just flew past my window.

And here come the conspiracy theory websites
They still have the right to do so in real life, but in a forum I would understand action taken against it
agreed. now I'm going to leave as quickly as I came, to prevent high blood pressure.
And here come the conspiracy theory websites
:geno:
That's the joke.
YOU CAN NEVER CHANGE SOMEONE'S POINT OF VIEW IN AN INTERNET ARGUMENT.
Can anybody show me a single example where that worked? Because there are none.

oh okay good
And what the fuck was the point of the link you posted
Sure they were planning to go to war with Iraq already, but that even further disproves that the government caused 9/11
Fucking conspiracy theorists can't read or understand shit. Everyone in the thread did not read and fully comprehend the article, so they just assumed it added suspicion to 9/11, but in fact it did just the opposite.
We've gotten pretty off-topic but hopefully we can fix that...
How can anyone object to an investigation into finding the absolute truth behind the events that, quite frankly, changed America alot. Why wouldn't we want to find out 100% once and for all that the government story is accurate. I mean, the government made an elaborate report and even gathered photographic evidence of the moonlander to disprove moon-landing disbelievers. Why wouldn't they shut us up once and for all with a UN investigation?

Pretty strong claims. What evidence do you have to support these conclusions?

Because it's fucking expensive and a waste of time

Listen to yourself, please. You're just exuding irony. The US did the same thing for 9/11, and i'm sure people have the same problems you do with that commission with the moon landing one. By your criteria, we know 100%.
And look, did the moon landing report shut anyone up? No of course not, because that's not how conspiracy theorists work. A report by the UN, for previously mentioned reasons, wouldn't shut anyone up either. If anything, it would add more fuel to the fire because the conspiracy theorists would see the figurehead of the NWO vouching for the United States, which is just a perfect collusion for them.
Because it's fucking expensive and a waste of time
You know how much the war in the Middle East has cost? I'll give you a hint, it starts with a 'T'.

I haven't established any criteria, and quite frankly people are still disputing it everywhere to this day! It is foolish to assume we 'know 100%'

And people say the exact same thing about the moon landing. What don't you get about this?
And you didn't establish any criteria for the 100% sureness of the landing either...
also, the war is fucking expensive and a waste of time, I don't see your point.

1- VeoSeo24 is a conspiracy theorist. A very devout one.
http://www.facepunch.com/search.php?searchid=3350086
106 posts, 3 threads about 9/11, 5 threads bashing the government.
2- Most people wouldn't have bothered to read the damn thing, therefore they skipped the non-bold line:
Now, with the help of a Freedom of Information Act request, the National Security Archive has obtained a newly declassified document that details talking points that emerged from a meeting between Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and CENTCOM Commander General Tommy Franks in November 2001.
November 2001. That's 2 months AFTER the attacks. But of course he didn't bold that line, therefore most people in the thread just skipped it and assumed that the document was made BEFORE 9/11. Read through the first few posts and you can see how a bunch of people already fell for his trap.
3- If the government DID cause 9/11, do you think they would be so sloppy? If they did frame Iraq, then why would they still be questioning if those attacks were related to Saddam? They would have link them to him already if so.
Do you know what declassified means? THAT MEANS THEY USED TO BE CLASSIFIED. If it was classified they could have said whatever they wanted, even "9/11 attack went as planned, ready to begin invasion of Iraq." But did they? No.
Hell yeah it's strong claim. But unlike conspiracy theorists I don't have to hide against flimsy links and use dodgy tactics to try to lure people in.
[editline]03:00AM[/editline]
And if you want to say that they just wanted an excuse to invade, then you are late because everyone knew about that already.
The document had nothing to do with 9/11 conspiracies.
So let me get this straight: simply because the only declassified meetings we know of happened AFTER 9/11 it's safe to assume they had no idea it was going to happen? There could be a dozen more CLASSIFIED meetings that took place prior that we don't know about. The files that could have proved this also could have been in the Secret Service's department of WTC 7, where the CLASSIFIED documents held there were not backed up elsewhere, and went down with the building.

No it's safe to assume that because it was only thrown up as an option, and declassified to begin with, the government didn't do it.

I don't have to prove you wrong, you have to prove yourself right.
You're making claims with no evidence.
Not anymore more since Obama pardoned him and his entire cabinet for warcrimes since investigations at the UN were underway shortly before Obama was elected.
Obama can't pardon Bush or his cabinet from charges brought up by the U.N. The U.N. is not controlled by Obama. Hence, you are retarded and need to stop saying stupid shit like "it's hightime people made heads roll in Washington," because you're stupid and have no idea what you're talking about.
You know how much the war in the Middle East has cost? I'll give you a hint, it starts with a 'T'.
Yes. It cost a trillion dollars. One trillion dollars. And we've been there for 8 or so years. You know how high America's GDP is? I'll give you a hint, it starts with a '14.25 T'. So let's multiply: 14.25 x 8 = 114 trillion. Of the 114 trillion dollars we made the last 8 years, one-hundred fourteenth of it went to Iraq. Good job, dumbass.
ShukaidoX, did you get sick of getting your argument handed to you in pieces in the WTC 7 thread?
Just stop. We have torn your argument up, but still you continue.

Me in the debate over the death penalty. I was convinced by the opposing argument.
Was rereading a webcomic, found something extremely applicable to this debate:

I'm bookmarking it, and will post it in any future arguments where someone seriously believes a conspiracy theory. Hopefully, it will annoy people into silence.
I wonder what would happen if ShukaidoX was made dictator of a country
How people can believe something as far fetched as the government setting up 9/11 is beyond me. Deifies all logic.
I wonder what would happen if ShukaidoX was made dictator of a country
He would be a skitz and make theories about himself.
Got some reasoning to back up your statement?
[editline]01:36AM[/editline]
The fucking nutjob “President” of Iran knows more about the Eleventh of September attacks than do most of the American people.
The American people have no clue that George W. Bush not only refused to testify about the attacks, but he refused to provide evidence to the Eleventh of September Commission.
There has not been any sort of investigation into the Eleventh of September. Nothing. Nobody has even looked at the available evidence.
You're a coward. Out of one thread when your argument gets trashed and straight into another, spouting the same bullshit. Stand your fucking ground, prove your argument or admit defeat.
Oh, and mind giving a link to Bush refusing to testify before the 9/11 Commission? This ought to be good...
Wow he's late, i bet he's going to ask the UN to investigate the Big Bang because Amerika wanted oil...

See my post, it was a flat out lie. Bush testified under weird conditions, but he testified nonetheless.
