"Leader of the 9gag anonymous group..."
PFFT HAHAHAHAHA
[editline] 13 January 2013 [/editline]
media tags aren't working what's the other one I can use?
Because 9gag act like their users form some sort of army even though they've never done anything of note ever (compare with 4chan who get shit done). Also 4chan have sort of hated 9gag since forever.
Edited:
One time some 4chan user decided to create a user on 9gag and incite a DDOS-attack on 4chan. What the 9gag users didn't know is that the coordinates he provided were for 9gag. 4chan made 9gag DDOS themselves. What more do I need to say?
9gag also rips stuff that's on top of reddit and changes the time as 1 or 2 hours earlier than what was posted on reddit, therefore claiming that it was posted on 9gag first before reddit.

Okay so why should we care about this?
Maybe this is a fake leak by 9gag trying to blame 4chan for trying to blame 9gag.
[SUP]When the 4chan community starts a raid they meet in a private IRC chatroom. Last night's meeting took place in a private, IRC-built, self-hosted chatroom.
Members of the chatroom have agreed upon the hashtag #RememberAddison, which they plan on using to fake a teenage girl's death on twitter, claiming she was a victim of the #cutting4beiber hoax.
They're currently deciding on who will spread the death hoax on what social network. Reddit, Tumblr, and 9gag are common targets of theirs.
They've taken things to the next step, creating a false social media trail for this fake Addison girl. One member of the chat writes a script while another member begins making a YouTube channel for her.
They make this fake memorial Facebook page for Addison.

And they make Addison's memorial Twitter page, supposedly run by a grieving brother.
Via: @RememberAddison
They record a SoundCloud file of a boy reading a script about the fake girl Addison they've created.

They also record a second script mourning Addison's death.
And a fake Anonymous warning, threatening to hack 9gag.com in retaliation for Addison's death.
An anonymous user under the screen name CLOSEDPOOL agrees to take the script and make a YouTube video out of it. He signs off and never returns.
One of the more vocal Twitter users in the chatroom is @Holla4Hitler.

A user puts together a fake blog post.

They also start making fake Twitpics of Justin Bieber tweets.
And post this notice to 9gag.com and encourage chatroom members to start sharing it heavily.

By the end of the first few hours they fill up two trending tags, #RememberAddison
Via: @search
And another called #Justice4Jazzy.
One chatroom member has access to the Facebook group "YES, MOM I UNDERSTAND!!*5 minutes later* What did she want me to do again??" which has 585,000 likes.
They make a fake Anonymous Leader video demanding justice for the #Cutting4Bieber deaths.
Source: youtube.com
And post it to Reddit's /r/videos subreddit. All the comments are from members from the chatroom.
Via: reddit.com
They also successfully vote their comments to the top of this YouTube video.
Via: youtube.com
The chatroom winds down as the members make plans to upvote their fake videos and links on YouTube and Reddit.
UPDATE: 4chan is currently planning to DDOS BuzzFeed as a result of this article (meaning they're trying to overload the site with requests and effectively shut us down).[/SUP]
I wouldn't really call this group "4chan" or "anonymous"
just some group of people who post on 4chan to coordinate these hoaxes
I gotta say, they're a pretty devious bunch. I found that to be a legitimately interesting read.
What I want to know is how the time magazine KJUGASCHAMBERS was achieved, that takes a lot of effort to do without messing up.
4chan is pretty interesting.
How come 4chan doesn't do stuff like this to raise awareness of the wrongdoings in the world that the media doesn't show.
I know that they do but they don't put in not as nearly as much of work into it then shit like Justin Beiber , who they swore they hate so much yet put in a shitton of attention to him.
So they had a double agent in the chatroom?
what the hell, i tried going to buzzfeed and i got a bunch of soundcloud download requests
which makes sense because of the mentions of soundcloud in the buzzfeed article
